    Hi there. It's funny because we met yall at Riverside in the laundry room,lol. We would definitely go back there. Our site on the water did not flood at all. We had zero issues at all with any puddles or flooding. I know they were bringing in more rocks while we were there, so hopefully, they are fixing the sites that you stayed in. Take care and happy camping!

    The campgrounds are nice but it seems like a parking lot instead of a campground 💁‍♀️ I would prefer a lot with trees and grass🌳

      Some are that way and others are like parking lots. We like both depending on what we are doing and for how long. Thanks for watching.

    Awesome video. Thanks for the information. We are taking a trip later this month through Kentucky and Tennessee, but won't be in that area this time. Can't wait to see your next videos. We are planning a trip to Utah in September to see the national parks

    • @OurRoadLessTraveled
      @OurRoadLessTraveled  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We are doing the 5 National parks right now. We have have found some great boondocking spots and RV parks that will let you fill fresh water and dump for free, or a very small fee. Our next 3 videos will be on these locations with GPS coordinates. We will also provide a couple RV parks outside the National parks that are clean, and located close to the parks.

      @@OurRoadLessTraveled That is awesome. Can't wait to see them. Are y'all going to or have you done the Narrows? I understand you have to rent wet suits, socks and boots

      @@WeSometimesRV Have not heard of that. I'll research it and see if we can fit it in. If its cold water, probably not unless its 95 degrees outside.

      @@WeSometimesRV Just looked it up. www.nps.gov/zion/planyourvisit/thenarrows.htm
      Its currently closed. We learned a new word this week, Hydrologic. Its when the snow on the mountains starts to melt and floods the creeks and streams that flow into the rivers. I guess that is what has caused the Narrows closure.

      It’s all about reasonable pricing for the area and the largest sites we’ve ever stayed at. I’m too cheap to pay $80/night to park 5 ft from my neighbor

    I wouldn't to stay at any of these they look more like parking lots than a campground. To each their own. But these are not the Best campgrounds in the Smokies. In my opinion.

    • @OurRoadLessTraveled
      @OurRoadLessTraveled  หลายเดือนก่อน

      100% agree. They just work for us. We like to be close to the attractions and have wide open sky for starlink, since we both still work. Others have other priorities that would exclude these parks. We love the wooded parks, but they kill out internet access.
