Hows the skill level.. in general.. im a beginger in aoe in general.. unlike c &c.. is there space for noobs to play comfortably.. are even still noobs playing?

Need to put some more practice in against the computer mate. Too much time spent idle and not gathering resources or building houses until you need them slowed you down a lot. Build more troops and don't rely on towers so much. Get in and attack early to keep pressure on them while you can keep upgrading. Better to fight at their gates than yours. I haven't played this game since I was a kid but I would've dominated those guys lol
