Marti Michell’s deluxe corner trimmer has all the dots for all the angles to include trimming. Helps for the spatially challenged (me!). I highly recommend. Thanks for video. This is 45 degree angles but same process for any angle
I have looked at so many of Y seams tutorial that they did so much taking and Not showing the fabric of how it’s done, but I was determined to fine the right Tutorial and BaM I found you, thank you so much, your Explanation rocked my World to understand perfectly, now I can feel comfortable doing my Y-seams, thank you so much 😉
This really helped me understand sewing the Y seam!! Thank you! I DID cringe when I saw you sew over your pins though. LOL. 45 plus years of me sewing and having it grilled into my brain not to sew over my pins. I have a few times and busted needle and pin parts all over. 🤣🤣
Great tutorial. I did my first set-in seam block but really strapped with pressing the seams. Are you supposed to not press until the entire block until it’s done? My block had an octagon at the center with 8 star points. Curious about pressing.
My Bernina has an extra stitch. Excellent advice. You can always pivot needle down and backtrack
Excellent video I have been going crazy(first y seams!)

Thank you for a very informational video. I was struggling with sewing diamonds together. Your video made it so much easier.

What pins are you using that your able to go over them?
Fantastic tutorial thanks! Trying a lone star but feel more confident I can tackle those Y seams now.

45 degree not 60 degree, otherwise, perfection. So informative.
