I wonder if anyone has told them that's not how quantum entanglement works in the time since this originally came out till now. Information can't be transferred faster than "the speed of light" and quantum entanglement isnt about being able to flip the spin of the particle that's entangled it's about knowing which way one of them flipped if we observed the other. If there were two quarters where if one was heads up the other was heads down and the coins were put in a random state but the observer didnt know anything other than that, and one coin was taken billions of light years away, the observer could look at the remaining coin and know the state of the other coin. It's not viable for communication.
Edit: I want to correct myself and recommend a video about pyramids and slave labour done by 'veritas et caritas' titled 'Miniminuteman is wrong about pyramids and slavery' where they give a very in depth review about what different academic sources say. Basically, from my new understanding, it was built with the work of slaves, just not necessarily what we typically think of as a slave or 'chattel' slave. I'm still watching the video, but I wanted to correct my comment while I still remember. It is very respectful in correcting Milo and Milo even replied and was very grateful for the research. I highly recommend it for a deeper understanding! From my understanding, it's the general belief by archaeologists that pyramids were actually built by skilled workers like architects and stuff, not slaves. I only found that out recently, myself, and always thought slaves built them. I highly recommend Milo Rossi aka miniminuteman, he does a lot of cool work debunking myths and he himself had made the same mistake and corrected himself on it. I'd love for him to be a guest on the show!

Eeeergh, I never wanted to become this guy but... I want to point out that the description of Qunatum Entanglment given in the first minisode is a very common misunderstanding. Messing with one particle in an entangled pair doesn't update the other particle, it's just breaks the relationship. Not to say that there isn't some spooky cool stuff that can be done thanks to Entanglement, it's just that the common sci-fi trope of instant long distance communication based on engantled particles isn't one of them, because that's not how entanglement works.
My biggest issue with the quantum shit is that whenever it comes up it’s always shit I’ve been thinking about since high school. Maybe I just need to see what actually advancements have been made, but that singularity shit always makes me roll my eyes.
About entanglement, think like food, 2 or more ingredients CAN be made into so many foods, they are a "super position" when I make a sandwich with them, that is the reality of them, what I experience. That's all it means, not that every part is made in our physical, but you travel towards a point that is your chosen experience or perception of those events or ingredients mixing. Someone else experiences them differently, like one enjoys monster trucks the other is afraid of them.
"Space and time are illusions" On that note, I couldn't dig up any Chilluminati podcasts on my favorite rabbit holes: the Carlos Castaneda novels, and Electric Universe/Plasma Cosmology. Anyone know if there's episodes about those? edit: I should ask on the subreddit too, huh. The Castaneda books are the best trip reports you'll ever read, and I suspect the origin of the quote "It's the only way to fly" in the Matrix. The audiobooks are on YT. EU/PC theory is about astronomy, but also talks about historical record mentioning planets colliding inside of our solar system, Saturn being the sun before Sol took its place, the Grand Canyons being created by lightning... the Why Files did a huge episode on them half a year ago (and they shot back of course). If you haven't gone on those wild rides before, get your tickets because they're well worth a peep!
Alot of adverts. Multiple in every minisode.... Has ruined the vibe. Such a shame. Shame on me for being poor. So poor, I can't afford to support my favourite podcast, so I must endure countless sales pitches instead...makes perfect sense.

This is what happens when people learn quantum physics from disinterested high school teachers and hastily-produced youtube documentaries

Dang, got your wish in very short time haha
@@AshePenumbra Right?! Was super thrilled to see it. Great episode!
architects don't build though. So it still could be true they got others to build their designs themselves.

HOLY SHIT THAT IS THE PERFECT COOKIE MONSTER IMPRESSION
The X-Files episode with Jesse Ventura playing a man in black in a large, black Cadillac is a perfect example, and I wish it was brought up.
From the episode "Jose Chung's from Outer Space". Not just one of the best X-files episodes, but one of the best episodes in TV history.

That Cookie Monster was slowly morphing into E. Honda there at the end lol
It is literally December 2024 as I listen to this for the first time
Okay, who else thought Alex's Cookie Monster skewed closer to Watto from The Phantom Menace?

Holy shit 1 minute ago, I've never been this early to anything, what an amazing happy accident. Hope it's a good one, love you guys.

"A Separate Reality" almost made me crazy, but that may be a personal problem on second thought
@@indiegaminghighlights1444 It's not you... or it's not _just_ you. Those books are crazy.
Alex not only does a spot on Rowlf, but a pretty great cookie monster too.
It is a good bit

I'm a shifter and I love hearing all your quantum talk thus episode. Ty
no you're not.

When you turn on a light in a video game,... It's turning on a light somewhere.....
Moon landing? 👀
Too many adverts. They shouldn't be so frequent... and are played with zero thought on how it impacts the show.
What a let down.
The pyramids were not built by slaves.

F#@£ing adverts every 8 mins or so. Absolute BS.
