I'm still partial to Oni's Island in the Fairyland, myself, but this is a really good new theme for Suika, and I still like it a lot more than Broken Moon. As for the thing about her hair color, I think she's always been intended to be a sort of strawberry blonde, it's just a lot of outside works made the red more prominent. I actually like this redesign a lot!

I don't know what's the appeal with Broken Moon, I always thought of Oni's Island in the Fairyland as the better Suika theme.
For sure, I was never very big on Broken Moon. That said, I think Oni's Island in the Fairyland still has them both beat.
