@@dsuthapong Ok, after testing few things here's a problem I did stumble on: On Iphone, when I use the CMT my keyboard doesn't open. I have to click in the Text area to get the keyboard up. any idea why maybe? It's not a big deal, but it is an extra step and it looses the smoothness of inputing the though :P

Edit: My workaround at this point is to have the shortcut directing to Daily/2022 and then I'll update it for 2023. I would like my daily notes separated further by months, but this is a fair compromise for an amazing workflow. Thanks for showing me how to do it!

I recently used Obsidian sync and basically all you need to do it to point the path in iOS shortcut to the folder that Obsidian Sync reads, instead of an iCloud folder. Hi Rajat! Actually you can install themes on mobile too! I’m using minimal theme which is really awesome! You can try using this theme and download Minimal Theme Setting plugin. This gives you more customization 😀
well, i tried to setup shortcut but have some issues. My current daily note format: 📩YYYY-MM-DD in obsidian. in this daily template i have several heading. How can i set up shortcut to capture my thought in specific heading on each daily note. (ex: i wanna to capture my thoughts to heading ## Log )
Hi! To add a note to your naming format, just replace the file path in the shortcut from “CurrentDate.md” to “📩CurrentDate.md” But it can only append to the end of the note, not to a specific heading 😅

The only difference is that, instead of setting the iOS shortcut to write the note in the iCloud folder, you have to set it to the local vault that is connected to the Remote Vault in Obsidian Sync. @@dsuthapong Thanks Darin. Interesting no error - using the iPhone via homepage icon I get a confirmation message that the script has run. Using Siri, get the 'done' message. But nothing showing in Obsidian. Weird. Keen to get it working as its a very useful tool!
This tutorial was confusing since it did not use terminology that is common to the operating system. For example.. “To set up an attachment folder go to -Settings- Did you mean preferences? Are you in the desktop version, or iOS? Not clear and hard to follow. What version of Obsidian are you using? That would help as well since 1.1.15 does not look like your version at all. Video should be updated or pulled.

Yup. I can't even open it on mobile because the plugins clog it I think. And the chrome extension doesn't show so I still just save pages to my phone screen and never sort it

I had the same issue. I implemented a folder action on "Daily Notes" folder which converts txt files to md files.
