I love how the show makes us sympathize, like, understand, and maybe even reason with people that in other shows they would want us to look down upon. You can understand eve's side but nikk is absolutely right, especially from his perspective of things. And what the audience knows so far. He actually tries to be a good and supportive husand and literally makes up with her seconds afterwards because he loves her so much.
