How wood pellet plant works

For wood pellet plant,It usually contain hammer mill, dryer , pellet mill machine, cooler and packing machine.
If using wood chips as raw material.
A hammer mill is need to grind wood chips into 10 mm sawdust.
After that ,a rotary dryer is need to dry the milled material into 12-15%moistur content.
For drying section, you could use a hand stove/biomass pellet burner to offer the heat for the dryer.
It depended on which fuel do you plan to use.
After that, the most important section-pelleting section.
During pelleting section, it will lost 2-3% moisture content, so the moisture content of finished pellet is about 10%.
During cooling, it will still reduce 2-3% waster,
So the moisture content of finished pellets is less than 10%.
After cooling, a packing machine is need.
