Set (wenn man es sich leisten kann/will) wieder etwas mehr sinn, ohne einen Triebkopf-Überschuss zu haben und/oder diese mühevoll umzubauen. Die größte Innovation sind aber wohl die geteilten "Tiefbett"-Zugplatten. Das eröffnet fantastische neue Möglichkeiten.
This set marks the debut of the 1x12 plate in lime green and of the 1x8x3 25-degree roof tile in the same color. There is also the 8x6x2 "tank bottom" in dark stone gray and the ponytail hair piece in light purple which are introduced here as well.

I still like The 60051 high speed passanger train from 2015. This one also looks cool but rhat doors.... Good idea but they look like doors from 40 years old train
the start of the music at 5:16 sounds like a train horn I love it! Oh and also i only bought the freight train that came out alongside this one since when I got the freighter I was on vacation in Italy so I didn’t have time to get this one since the net day i left still looks nice and I’m a bit sad that I didn’t buy it

This train looks really weird. The front is too long and the bricks make it not smooth. Also similar to the last train i dont like how the drivers car has no passenger seating. The only redeeming quality is that it was doors. I still think 60051 is the best lego train but the 2011 red one is also nice
its nice ... but anybody notice the train car split frame is actually 2 studs smaller than the normal split? Also how do lego people get up to the seats? maybe its me but no mini stairs? on a good note good price point and im glad all the lights and batter box is included and lots of track nice ! and yes 2 of these back to back would also be nice =o) =o) cant wait im ordering tonight at midnight in USA !!!
Unpopular opinion: I don't like that set at all. The front of train is too bulky and long, doors are too off. I understand that you cant really fit them in, because of lego itself, but I think no doors is better, as if in old sets

When you buy the train do they provide Triple A battery or do you have to purchase it separately
It needs 10x AAA batteries. It's best to buy rechargeable ones in my opinion. It *does not* come with batteries included.

You need to buy 10x AAA batteries. 6 batteries go in the power box in the train, 4 batteries go in the hand controller.
