Quick reflexion on the advantages and inconvenients of a Bavaria Cruiser 40 2013 Versus a a Bavaria 36 of 2013 vintage. Quick compare to proper Bluewater boats
Very nice video! -- QUESTION -- We are going to take the plunge and were thinking Hallberg (either 53, 54, 48 or 46). However, one thing we liked about watching you is the openness of the aft cockpit and fold down 'beach" transom. You mentioned you would prefer HR. How would you deal with the center cockpit vs the openess of the aft cockpit that you have. We watched Sailing with Thomas and he has a Bavaria 55 with a huge cockpit. It seems nice when at anchor. Hard to make up our minds on the importance of that vs the heavy build quality of the HR??
I think you did have some perfect reflection on this subjective topic, and I liked it when you referred to your own boat's pros and cons. Cheers.
It is indeed highly subjective
Bavaria 36, 2012 is the best!
Thanks for the post, stay safe!

Love these questions Keep'em coming
Looking forward to that beer!
As long as you remember that boat stands for Bring Out Another Thousand, you’ll be fine… 😉
Interesting matter but the audio quality was awful dome minutes in to the video stream. Could hardly hear what you were saying 😔
Sorry about the sound It is an issue I am trying to work on
