I particularly loved Tommy Rall, who was not only a terrific dancer, but a beautiful singer as well. (You can listed to him on the original Broadway cast recording of "Milk and Honey," in which he both sings and dances to the song, "I Will Follow You," or on the soundtrack of "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.")
He had 3 kids and was married 3 times. Odds are maybe sexuality and dancing don't automatically make men queer. A passion for the arts is the true drive for most.
What about the Olympic trial high jumper for Yougoslavia..Igor Youskevitch started Ballet at 19!!!! And wife and daughter very very masculine 46 here and still got some of his technique afyer retiring and been interrupted by war service
For film dance fans, this one is a must. Thanks to Warner Archive, it is finally on DVD - and Tommy Rall is in it!
He did some dance sequences with animation that was beautiful in this film!!!

Next year is the centennial of the birth of Eugene Curran Kelly, and here's hoping that TCM celebrates it.
GK makes fun of FAS...crooner.😅😅😅❤❤❤
My friend, what's the title of the movie that starts aprox 0:44 (with the ballerina)?? I am trying to figure that out for a looooong time!
I seldom assume dancers are gay, but I've always thought Kelly needed to come out of the closet.

TheAureliac You’re wrong on this.
...does it matter? Will you not be able to enjoy his work if he was gay? His sexuality is none of your business
