@@ChatWithTradersPodcast Please continue to uphold the high level of integrity that this channel is known for. good chat I liked the bit about the model suggests the trade and the person executes them, having trained his wife to simply execute the trades. I am kind of in the middle of a "suggested trades system" myself which fits exactly that and my wife is being chief Paper Trade tester at the moment
As someone who actually runs a quant hedge fund and whos been a hedgie for over 15 years, I can tell you this guy is not a quant trader but a technical one. Moreover, he has very little industry knowledge.
I quite agree that some traders fake it but not all of them, what we fail to see when talk about growing accounts at an exponential rate is compound interest. It may take you a year to take 10k to 100k, and just 2 months to another 100k(doubling your Intial100k)... that's compound effect.
Quantifying feel? I can tell you this guy has idea about quant trading. More than 20% drawdown in a day??? Quants don't predict the future, they find statistical arbitrage...
This is a terrible choice for an interview. He would never pass the first stage of our criteria to join our quant fund. I question 99% of his performance results. His answers betray to your questions, are mostly hot air and full of soundbites.
He promotes people to use normal patterns like head and shoulders etc but he himself uses statistics on excel to spit out stocks to trade. Nothing he said makes any sense when it comes to his own “quant” trading.
We carefully select and verify our guests to bring listeners valuable insights. Take the time to fully listen to the interviews with an open mind. You might be surprised at what you can learn.

Do you actually verify what people are saying? Like do you see or publish their brokerage statements?

@ChatWithTradersPodcast
Can you please interview some one from ftmo prop firm
@@dontseki6730 pls no online boutique prop traders, they're mostly liars and TH-cam gurus. Real traders trade their own live capital. Not sim casino.
Whoa! This one seemed so clear to me. That dude is a G. Very grateful for this one. Ty
I'm a tech guy through and through. I manual backtest. Ok guy
This isn’t quant, it’s discretionary compounding.
Awesome interview sir

I’m sorry, but this guy sounds so full of crap lol
Complete clown. Worst interview on this channel by far
This Trader has very little experience and almost Zero Professional Knowledge. A little over an hour of noise and inaccurate observations....
I bet he's hiding the drawdown from 2021-2023.
equity drawdown or balance drawdown?
This guest wasn’t helpful at all
