- There were two major developments in the Karen Read case Monday: her defense team filed a motion to dismiss two of the three against her, and lead investigator, Massachusetts State Police Trooper Michael Proctor, was having hearing in the internal investigation into his conduct
Trooper Proctor admitting on the stand, that he was driving around drunk in his cruiser with CPD, Kevin Albert and Kevin loosing his gun and badge in the cruiser, should be fired instantly

I think she’s innocent but at this point, that part really doesn’t matter. Sure, on an emotional level it means a lot to the O’Keefe family, but there’s no way a jury can trust Proctor’s investigation work. It’s not only the things he did, but all the things he didn’t do, like declare multiple conflicts of interest, he didn’t search the Albert house, took their words as fact. Let’s say, for argument’s sake Proctor was 100% honest & did not purposely do the Alberts any favors….he still violated the rules, messed up, & dropped the ball in so many aspects. I just don’t see how a prosecutor can get by all that to take it to trial, let alone how a jury can get past it.

Proctor needs to be suspended without pay & let go forever! Proctor has absolutely no business EVER being an officer in any capacity, much less a “LEAD INVESTIGATOR”! Every single case he has ever had a hand in should be reopened & reinvestigated. How many more innocent people are sitting in prison over his “misconduct”. I’d like that question answered.
This was NOT a first time offense, you don’t just one day wake up and decide to frame someone & behave this way coming out the gate. This was the one case he finally got caught, and ONLY bcz the FBI had a secretive investigation.

The Judge intentionally didn't disclose that the jury found her not guilty of charges 1 & 2, and were only deadlocked on the dui charge. Judge Bev tried to hide those verdicts so that the CW could retry Read on all of the charges. That's why she didn't poll the jury before dismissing them. The jurors also said they were intimidated by the Alberts being in the courtroom. Either corruption or extreme incompetence.

Where is the supposed ring camera footage of the crime?
This is outrageous! Ashley Banfield, reported last week, that a juror informed her, they were unanimous for NOT guilty on the murder charge.
It was the lesser charges they couldn't agree on. Based on that, the prosecution needs to drop 2nd degree murder and just charge her with involuntary manslaughter while under the influence or something accidental. I still don't think she hit him at all, but the jury could at least deliberate on more reasonable charges. I think Proctor is a very big problem, bigger than before. Also, the Feds have their investigation of him going on.

The only path for Proctor is fired, PERIOD! He was the lead investigator in a murder trial. He should have recused himself. Investigators of any crime, but especially a murder trial should not know or have an emotional connection to the one charged or any participants in the case.
It would be interesting to know if he was appointed to be the lead investigator to help cover up the crime. Something really stinks in this police investigation. The results of this hearing for him will speak volumes on the department.
Bev should have done that in the first place.
If the information the defense is alleging is correct, the Court’s verdict form is to blame. It did not allow the jury to record a not guilty decision per charge.

I'm sure the FBI investigation on Proctor and we know the report from 2 people they hired stated it couldn't be from the SUV so I would like to see what the FBI concluded..
