The price is ridiculous… in Europe it’s €339,95, I mean that’s more than the price of a desk that you can raise and lower with an electric engine (from 245€)
So a cheaper version would just be a balance board. Those are pretty great, do the same thing, and they're cheap. This adds another type of movement because each board moves individually, but a round balance board would simulate a movement that's pretty close.
I put a big old desk riser on my desk at work and I can comfortably stand and work. I can always lower it when I want to sit down. It’s great and I bought it used on marketplace for $60.
@@stefanth8596 I think high infill and several shells would make a 3d print plenty strong enough, but... You'd need a huge printer. Anything large enough would be commercial and cost tens of thousands. But 3d prints can be crazy strong with the right settings and some patience.

I just bought electronic legs/base to convert my desk to a sit/stand desk. I feel like sitting all day is negating all the time I spend trying to stretch and not gaining any flexibility

Kneeling chairs are pretty great for this too, they rock and theres many ways to sit on them, better for posture than normal chair
They can be very good, but I've seen some people don't get along with them so well. I love standing desks myself

Probably not 3d printing, doubt it can take the weight. Easiest with carpentry
