Would you mind telling us what size Sand Urban jacket you were wearing and what your measurements are? I've read that the jacket runs small and I'm trying to get a sense of what size to purchase so I don't need to make a return later. Cheers!
I own an earlier incarnation of this jacket and whilst is it well made and comfortable there is one big issue. The outer shell is not waterproof and soaks up water which after time finds its way to you.
True, although that is their intention with this jacket. The downside is that the jacket gets wet, cold and heavy - but then again it also lets through more air on warm days.
No experience but i'm going with the sand 3. I had a textile jacket from alpinestars once and the zipper broke. So the jacket was useless. No alpinestars gear for me. Only dainese and rev'it 👌🏼
For what it's worth as a GSA rider, with the exception that it rains here in summer and as such I dislike internal waterproof liners, my new Sand3 has been the most comfortable and practical jacket I've had, with many little attention to detail ( Have the optional seeflex ce2 back protector), it's as well made and other than the collar in front it's more comfortable than any of my previous BMW or Alpinestar jackets and better priced than very similar Klim and touratech versions)
Hello, between the sand 3 and the offtrack which one do you prefer for summer ? thanks
Just bought the jacket yesterday. Sand color woohoo cant wait for better weather to try it 😁

Prefer Alpine Star jackets
wtf .....ripstop is not a material
Ripstop fabrics are woven fabrics, often made of nylon, using a special reinforcing technique that makes them resistant to tearing and ripping.
youyubssieee wow............ I guess my Rain gear is not made of any materials
