Another great idea. My Father in Law made a 4’ circular saw guide with Masonite and 1/2” plywood. I’ve made 2’ guides with laminate using the factory cut edge as the straight edge and a thin kerf blade in my saw. It makes a cut almost like a factory cut. Thank you, again, for your instruction.
Great idea. Had to do something similar to cut the bottom of my privacy fence boards. Of course, my solution wasn't nearly as complex as I was only dealing with 5 1/2 inches of width. Will say it made the job so much faster and more exact. I used 1X 4 attached 90 degrees to one another, then ran my saw across to cut off and mark my cut line. Measured and lined up to cut line, perfect.
Tolle Idee.
Hi mate! Had to sub cos I really enjoy your vids as well as learn from, thanks! Just a question... I have heard a lot never to use laminate on table saw, however, seeing that you do do it, would you recommend it too? I know this vid is recommending, but just your thoughts. Thanks again!
Not to mention the expense of the materials used, like the tape, aluminium channel, sandpaper screws etc. The cost of that sandpaper roll in the U.K. would be approx £30.00 if you could source it locally. If you need to use this device every day then you would be better off investing in a table saw or track saw. If only occasional use is required then clamps and straight edge (spirit level) would be the sensible route
@@claude1366 think of all the things needed to make this you can go out and pick up a circle saw guide and clams it to your saw and adjust it to the measurement you need and cut a straight line for about $25. Instead of spending all the money needed to build this...
Good video and nice idea. To you constant complaining dolts, this gave him something to do, he knows where his money is, not lost in some never ending and immoral pipedream. And, looks like he enjoys the work.
Pulgar abajo...

Excellent. All you need is a welder, pro saw table, and a fully fitted workshop.

Well thought out design. Thanks for sharing your idea.
Great idea and fairly cheap build. Thank you for sharing your knowledge
Very good aid for quick and precise straight long cuts. Well done Eugene!
Super, deine Idee.
Thank you for sharing. Your works are inspirational. Keep it up!!
What a great idea.
Good job. But why did you use sandpaper at the bottom. I'd prefer adhesive rubber tape. Sandpaper will scratch the surface of aour workpiece.
Great idea with great result's, well done.
Super Félicitations ! Merci !
Nice video, thanks for sharing it :)
Was going to make this but to much effort for something I could buy for £10

Wouldn't it be faster and faster to clamp a straight edge to the project and cut with that it will save you the time on building this ???
Yeah but once you've made it, it's always there to use. Saves time in the long term.
Not if you like wasting time making unnecessary things like this

Merci
Excellent work. That has given me a great idea :)
That came out great 👍
Very good! Great idea. Been looking for a simple rip jig. Checking out your channel for more ideas.

very nicely done. Could you please give us a link for that doubled sided tape , Thanks
Good clip, bravo!
Cool idea, well done!
Leicht gesagt, keine Laminatreste wegzuwerfen.
Good job 👍
What on earth did you do do to the laminate joint.?
What's up Friend! you've got the traction going Well upkeep. Well upkeep. I'm impressed on how you ended this video Until we meet again
You should sell those. I would gladly spend money on that
Nice one. Which tape did you use. The sandpaper base is a superb solution.
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼
Lacks table saw skills as demonstrated by not using a push stick.
Laminate contains metal fragments and all kinds of stuff you really do not want to introduce into your shop.
so what is it?
good idée

That is cool. Thanks. Cost
Alat yang canggih
Man kann sich auch eine Führungsschiene kaufen.
что это было?what it is?
why not just use your table saw to rip the pieces you need?
I agree with you that's way too much work just to make a guide and you can pick up one from harbor freight for like 19.99
$6 at harbor freight
ta muito fixe
