Personally I’m happy we have your Texas winter and you have ours. I’m sick of the snow and 15 degrees with -2 windchills. Although, I prefer frozen ground to mud but this Friday it’s supposed to be 70 degrees. Absolutely crazy. It’s interesting to see what others feed around the country. I buy totes of 12% feed and I’ve fed around 1600 4x6 bales so far. Hay rings are absolutely the way to go and due to the snow, I use a processor to blow straw for them to bed down. I’m running out of straw bales so hopefully we’re done with snow. Nobody on the east coast has a pickup bed spear, we all have spears for our tractor loaders or use Telehandlers. Enjoy our cold! 😎

We sale and use the same fuel additive year around in all of our trucks and equipment. It’s a good thing to just keep in it and too much won’t hurt!

This was a terrible cold this year
Job well done. We don't really do anything special for cold snaps, we are used to it up here in NE Iowa. We get down to 30 to 40 below sometimes has -54° once

We went to -20 plus wind chill! -35 with wind chill in Wisconsin! It’s now in the low 30’s this week! We had two weeks of sub zero temps! 😩😩😩😝
And 25” of snow on top of the low temps! I’m glad it’s over for now! Good luck guys!

Curious what fireplace yall have? I love the whole fireplace setup! Up here in okc we were single digits for 5 days. And just got half inch of ice Sunday night! Hope y’all made it thru safely. Just a word to the wise on the antifreeze Clancey squirted on the ground, that’ll poison your cats & dogs that run loose! Even watered down its sweet to them so they’re attracted to it. Lost a dog to that years ago. Not something anyone should have to watch! Looks a lot like what Arms Family just went through with Rufus.
It’s a Fireplace Xtraordinair! Literally one of our favorite features in our house!

It was really cold here in smokies of NC/TN. Of course, we are suppose to get it. Regardless, it was so cold! Family/friends in louisiana sure got cold and even snow. Hope it’s al over now. Im assuming this is a video a little behind.

Texas getting cold weather is about as prepared as city folk for a 10 day power outage. Laugh all y'all want at Northern ranchers having to deal with cold weather but WE know HOW to deal with it. OK now that I am done being an Ass. Use more fuel additive than the directions specify.... The Directions LIE! The colder it gets the more additive you need. Now I don't know how cold it is going to get down there but depending on the temp and the fuel additive letting a tractor idle over night will save you from a no start in the morning. If it gels up it isn't starting without a fuel filter replacement and more fuel additive will be a pain in the wazoo! If you can keep all tractors inside a shop or at the very least plugged in to a block heater you increase your chances of starting them in the morning if you don't want to let them run all night. You are using the white bottle of fuel treatment... not the red bottle(using layman's terms) I use the white bottle in 20f degree short term weather anything colder 20F and longer than 2 days Use the Diesel 911 Red Bottle and use MORE of it than the directions say. And that is based on using No#2 summer diesel or 50/50 blend with No# 1 diesel. Best of luck and wish you well.

Yeah you could add that whole bottle of fuel additive to the tractor and nothing bad will happen. People think they're going to hurt their engines but it won't hurt anything.
