DoAX is really boring though. 2 minutes to find something more suit able over the internet vs. 2 hours of playing the most boring minigames for really underwhelming results.
The nba 2k20 thing is a shame, since I find the casino artstyle to be fun and cartoony. But I guess you can't do that stuff when your game is already being called a gambling simulator
Yeah, the thing with it was that it was *only* a visual for distributing prizes after a game. There was no money paid to access that particular feature, and it was just replaced with a vault that gave a prize randomly anyway
I remember Rick Riley in sports illustrated writing about how violent NFL blitz was and quoting all these statistics about how playing violent video games makes you a violent person and I’m thinking “dude if you think NFL blitz is violent I never want to see you play grand theft auto”
Ahh, I remember having a copy of _BMX XXX_ , LOL. I don’t know what I was expecting, but I was 21 when it released, and I still don’t know how this game that basically has, uhh... soft adult content in it avoided being rated AO and basically never earning a single sale because of it.
As a white man, I see nothing wrong with Punch Out. Just kidding. I personally think the intent in the stereotypes needs to be taken in to account. If it is done in an attempt to make fun of these stereotypes and have fun, I don't see it being a big deal. BUT... it IS Japan who notoriously does not understand racism. Look at Jynx the Pokémon and Mr. Popo from Dragon Ball Z. Honestly, I always took Punch Out as just poking some fun at stereotypes.
@@GameDayonYT Don't forget also with EA Sports MMA the fact that EA literally said to the UFC that they had no intention of doing an MMA Game then a little while after that they made EA Sports MMA with Strikeforce and Rizin
the punching your opponent in the face thing IS just hockey😂 you can still do it in the modern NHL games. not as brutal or arcadey but you still get to punch people in the face in a sports game
Being from the Q, I can attest each and every male coast to coast looks just like Bear Hugger. Only difference here is we swear way more and do so in french.
The guy who makes sports games appealing is back
I find it ironic how Australia was a penal colony and ruggedness but have ridiculous censorship for games
Is it a bad thing that I would unironically play DOAX or Blitz The League over any volleyball game (if they're a thing) or Madden?
Not at all, sir.
DoAX is really boring though. 2 minutes to find something more suit able over the internet vs. 2 hours of playing the most boring minigames for really underwhelming results.
Blitz was fun.
Volleyball games are mainly targeted to horny weebs. Don’t even get me started on Madden.
the king is back!!
Love your reviews of dodgy games, your humour works 😂
Ayy welcome back to the realm of the living.

Don't forget EA Sports MMA getting banned in Denmark for promoting Energy Drinks (Rockstar)
There was also that time Russia wanted to ban Fifa 17 because it had rainbow laces. At least we have material for a potential sequel
