I agree it’s such a different sound compared to a lot of what he’s done in the past but I really love it. It shows his skills for directing and production really well too. I didn’t think I’d like this song as much as I did but it’s surprisingly catchy and the metaphors and analogies really get me. It’s a very personal song lyric wise even though the tube is more upbeat

After watching this I must say. I did not expect Sean Lew to show up at the end, in a white suit none the less. The contrast between the suit and the background really makes you focus on him in and instant. What a nice way to give credits, to his contribution to this masterpiece of an MV.
The creativity in this song is amazing. From the shadow play, how Jackson’s outfit is torn, and how the choreography showcases the girls as cheetahs. Jackson really thinks of everything. Also goes to show that you only need one set to make an amazing MV! The song is such a retro vibe. Love the synthesizer. Everything was very well put together. Then soon after I realized he was in a group called GOT7, a group I really love listening to till this day. Once Jackson started his solo career I was very excited to see how he would develop on his own and when I say that throughout his evolution this man has SERVED and never disappointed. He has been dishing out hit after hit and his vision for his work is so amazing. I can feel the passion in everything he does it's so genuine and amazing.

Relative recent fan. Last July - I really like his voice and then I saw Cruel and that was it for me. His MVs are excellent - it's like a movie!

@@sung-holee5423 Ever since I saw him in a show called "Roommate" I've loved his personality. Then soon after I realized he was in a group called GOT7, a group I really love listening to till this day. Once Jackson started his solo career I was very excited to see how he would develop on his own and when I say that throughout his evolution this man has SERVED and never disappointed. He has been dishing out hit after hit and his vision for his work is so amazing. I can feel the passion in everything he does it's so genuine and amazing.
I've said it over and over millions of times....when it comes to Jackson's artistry and his creativity for his music videos, he will always be top tier for me! The song is smooth and love the vibe *hand clap*
His music videos are really something else!!! The production, the storyline, the dancers etc... it all perfectly matches the vibe of his new album and of the song
