Milele has amazing technology, like her hybrid propulsion and sail by wire.
I worked on this Superyacht for 4.5 Years from when the hull was build until the last Day when she left the Netherlands fully completed and certified after her test trails. It was a nightmare to work on, we had many struggles along the way and people at home getting angry because we were working overtime so much. But we kept going, the end result is what counts.
I was fortunate to have my own private Tour but that was before the furniture was placed. Now she is settling in, and this is normal for Custom Superyachts some things have to be changed or repaired It's another episode in Milele's life but she turned into a beautifull lady so thanks for this clip!

Not that the people who can afford a yacht of this caliber care about the storage and such, but a tour of the engineering and crew spaces would be appreciated. Many owners consider crew part of their extended summer family and care about their potential accommodations very much if they are in the market to buy.

Thanks very much for the comment and noted. You're totally correct that the design of any yacht can restrict or encourage time spent with the crew around, so it makes a big difference to life onboard.

That is a gorgeous looking boat. Something like that in a 55 meter would be even better.

Great tour of this fantastic designer yacht.
I loved every aspect of the features except for the sparse main salon furniture & beanbag chairs.
Thank you for this tour & I can’t wait for more stunning yachts.

One of the best yscht tour ever.
Hakvoort milele yacht is truly stunning 45metri
499gt 26.5knot top speed 4.000nm range at cruising speed.
    Interior design by omega architects.
Realized that Dutch or german yachts are much more expensive than italian ,turkish or greek yachts.
Dont know why their pricing is totally different maybe labor cost
    Or goverment tax aids?
Normally 499gt yachts by italian turkish yacht builders are 20~30mil euro range but rumor has it that this dutch one 50mil usd around 😮 wow northern european standard must be sth special.

It's really down to the cost of production and a very high demand in spite of that. The Dutch shipyards really do take craftsmanship to a new level 👌

    • @clifbradley
      @clifbradley 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

Labor costs and usually material costs. Different shipyards can get steel amd aluminum from different places. Like Dutch shipyards can't get Chinese or Russian steel, whereas Turkey can. Also the labor is way cheaper in Turkey. Dutch craftsmanship is just the gold standard. There is a saying in yachting, 'If it ain't Dutch, it ain't much'. Thus yachts made there like Feadship, Harkvoort, Moonen, Oceanco and German yards like Lurssen, Heesen, Abeking and Rasmussen all command high prices. Feadship is,known for making top notch, robust finely crafted yachts. Oceanco makes big yachts and are ultra luxurious. LURSSEN makes the biggest yachts in the world. Heesen makes the big yachts and they are all known for speed. Most yachts over 40 meters will do 12-13 knots, Heesen will do 24-30 knots +. Turkey is famous for the explorer yachts which is all the rage now. Damen SeaXplorers, Bering, Numarine, Mengi Yay and Sirena just to name a few all do robust expedition or trawler style yachts meant to cruise long miles, handle rough weather, and provide ample space, comfort and luxury, but at a more reasonable price.

I'm thinking you didn't cover anywhere near all of the staterooms, unless a vessel that's almost 150 ft long only has 4 staterooms. What's up with that?

Cool yacht, thanks for a fine tour. Liked almost all areas but the main salon seemed a tad compact and the furniture was modernistic but did not look especially comfortable. Is the transition space flanked by exhaust flues or some sort of technical spaces? Hakvoort is one of the smaller European yacht builders, but it has a fine reputation I believe.

Yacht is beautiful but then stabilizers are 'obviously electric' or at least that is what every armchair expert will say because this yacht looks like M/Y Home that sufgered an electricalissue and the stabilizers failed. Now every time I see a yacht bobbing, no matter if a stabilizer would work or not..that's everyone's answer. Anyways, it is pretty. I think your jeans might be too tight though. You alk hook up a lot of Aquaholic and Yacht Addiction's videos. I had no idea you had your own channel.
