This is by far my favourite Pendulum song and when i discovered it 4yrs ago I was shocked to see that it wasn't as popular as the other since it's fucking beautiful for a d'n'b song :O
Yeah. Their early work is the best. Their sound became too commercialized after Hold Your Color. There's tracks on In Silico that have a really good build up, but the drop on all of them leaves you feeling underwhelmed. Like taking a bath with your socks on. I feel this way about all of their stuff post-Hold Your Color tbh. They never recaptured that vibe.
+Ponysynth One Official Pendulum Returns at Ultra 2016, at least that's what the lineup implies. So hopefully we'll maybe get a single or some studio ep soonish?

One of the most underatted song of these guys. So melodic and beautiful. Two solos are something simply amazingness. Pure originality and creativity! Timeless classic... Always happy play this on my piano. Forever in love and soul!
@@WillyJunior Late reply, but starting around 2:09 sounds like Molten Crater a bit from _Spyro: Year of the Dragon_ in terms of the chords Might not be _the_ answer, but it's a plausible one
People always say that pendulum started experimenting with multiple genres and styles with In Silico. to those people, I say that pendulum has always experimented with different styles and that this track is proof.
Bro I had this song randomly pop into my brain days ago and I’ve been going fucking crazy trying to think of what it was. Then out of nowhere I’m chilling and it comes to me, PENDULUM
Still listening this song since 2008 when I discovered Pendulum, still my favorite one (with 9,000 Miles)... still makes me shiver and sometimes makes my cry cause it's so beautiful ! Masterpiece
the pure beauty of this song, its downright amazing... the first person to tell me this isn't musical art really hasn't got things straight up there... hands down the best pendulum song ive heard so far
+jimbob smith No vocoder is used in this track. Different EQ Vowel Filters are being blended together. The filters transitioning between one another creates the effect sounding like a human mumbling gibberish.
i picture myself driving like in those recent cadillac commericals, cruising down the desert in a pink, blue and purple dusk or throught the sea swimming through brilliant colours.
Exactly. Why does everyone get annoyed when a band they love becomes popular? Should be happy for them. I appreciate that sometimes they have only become successful because they sound less unusual/individual, but truly it's only progression and if a lot of people like it, that should mean it hits the right spots to entertain.
Damn, its crazy how fresh the whole album sounds even to this day.
Still relevant

Using a talkbox in one song does not mean the track was influenced by Daft Punk. Just saying.

do you mean a vocoder machine?

indeed i was merely correcting the terminology :)
I think its excactly opposite, they were very influenced by daft punk
Tbh i don’t like the voice box
I looove it! Its so nice to work with that song in the background!
