Yess work on self and focus on self first. I like how it went for you because some people would do both. I rather work on myself and focus on myself first before adding a person in my life. I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Men and women think very differently from each other.

Rie Rie wow! Same thing happened with me. I parted myself coz of some situations. We didn’t talk for almost 2 years. But I just could not resist myself and him for the same. We are again together. This was meant to happen. There truly was a God’s sign. I don’t know whether we are soulmates but there is definitely some strong connections. I was lucky enough to meet my soulmate 16 years ago. She was 35, I was 46. We spent many happy years together until my anger, criticism, and judgmentalism finally deraiied the love train
more than a year ago in July 2019. To say that I was and continue to be devastated is an understatement. I do not want to move on from her even though she has told me numerous times that she is happy where she is now and does not want to "go backwards". She asked me to respect her decision and move on. NO!! I cannot and will not accept that. I will not contact her anymore but I know that as far as moving on, this I will NOT do. She was the love of my life and I will never let go of the hope of being with her again. I have eliminated my issues but cannot convince her to meet up with me and show her my improvement. And I don't care about any of the BS about how to get over a long term relationship. I've read all the articles and books, watched all the videos, and engaged with my counselor and still no acceptance or relief. I don't give a shit if I am miserable, sad, depressed, and crying every day for the rest of my life. This is my punishment for the unnecessary and cruel verbal abuse that she endured. So be it. Just to clarify: there was NEVER any physical abuse. However I did learn that the emotional and verbal type of abuse can be WORSE than the physical type.

I connected spiritually with a total stranger. My soul felt a pull toward him and it was an experienced words can never describe. Time stood still, the energy was intense, purr, calming, genuine love. Our souls when met united in a happy blissful, moment WOW and I did not want to let go of the feeling
You may not believe this. It is about soulmate pull, draw or attraction. My soulmate and I had enjoyed great sex, which was our norm. We were still connected and I lay there filled with love for her, literally just loving her. I felt a pull or draw, very magnetic, on my spirit or soul. There may have been a slight hum or vibration. Yes I knew before I met him, who he was. When I met him it was instantly confirmed. There was a beautiful energy that enveloped me in warmth and light. He has certainly challenged me to be the very best I can be and to grow in my creative gifts. He understands me sometimes better than I understand myself and has helped me leave behind old patterns of self-destructive behavior, release fear and insecurities. We are separated by much distance yet I can feel his heart call out to me when there is something to communicate. It may not be in words…simply a very strong sense that I am supported and loved completely or that he wants my presence in that moment. . The pain of physical separation is sometimes pure agony that no words can describe, but my soul knows we are still with one another through it all. I long very much to see him and hold him close to me….it alludes us just when I need him most, and I must surrender to a timing I do not choose but that the Creator needs us to endure, for reasons known only to him. Do I love him..yes..I did not. Know such love existed or that I was capable of experiencing it…but I also know we are called to be messengers of light and hope to the world. And that somehow we support each other in that mission..that divine purpose. My greatest joy will be to see him once again with arms reaching out to hug me and I doing the same. When I met my bf I was going through a divorce. I wasn't planning on dating but we just clicked. We could finish each others sentences, felt like we've known each other for years, could see through each others insecurities and accepted each other.
