I heard this song when my father tunes his radio to Akashwani at 15:20 Pakistan Standard Time every day in mid-80s. Now whenever I miss my late father I listen this and few other songs.
All are legends but Hemant Ji owns this song and pretty much every song he sang. He is also a great composer. I feel that he has been under appreciated in Hindi music compared to his contributions although he is a legend in Bengali music.
