longhornl thats normal. Most of us probably prefer this type of show. Monet is catering to the drag race audience and RuPaul is going for a more mainstream audience. He’s on tv so he also has more restrictions , even more because he’s on daytime.

Monet is doing a really good job at this: Well informed, interested in her guests, letting them speak, actually listening to the responses, quick-witted... Just a natural, very fun to watch.
Monet is a great interviewer.. she allows the guest to answer fully and lets the interview be an organic conversation.

Y'all know she got that phrase from Thomas Sanders, a Non-Binary TH-camr who's literally been the exclusive user of that phrase for literally years. It was really rather jarring for me to hear her say that. Like, I'm non binary as well and, even though it was nice, it doesn't feel like... hers? It doesn't really feel right to me - hearing Thomas say it for so long, and then suddenly a drag queen says the exact same phrase and everyone's like "Oh, Monet, you're so lovely for including 'non binary pals'".

I randomly found Paris is burning in my netflix suggestions because I am a rupauls drag race fan. And I loved it. I laughed cried and I was so saddened by some of the stories of the beautiful souls that were lost. Loved this episode Monet

Dang this episode hits so much more differently now knowing all about how Todrick doesn't pay his dancers, and the fact that Jenny Livingston exploited the people in Paris is Burning. Watch "How Do I Look?" it's considered a sequel to Paris is Burning and actually goes more in depth to their lives and they talk about how exploited they were in Paris Burning. I love what the movie did for LGBT+ culture i just wish they'd treated them better

This show was already great, but it keeps getting better and better. I thought last week's episode with Bob was my favorite but this week's tops that! lol You have amazing guests this week. Having the father and grandfather of the House of Pendavis spill some tea on Pose and share more about the history of military realness was everything! How cool to have them reflect on the movie and it's impact! Todrick's interview was great too! He's so funny! I love that Monet has gotten more relaxed/at ease and the show is really finding it's rhythm. I love watching it every week!!!!
