Hey Ken, enjoy your vids, and coincidentally I use the same gear as you, so helps me read signals I’m getting- although our coins in Ireland read differently to yours. I was using a cheap pinpointer for a while, and it was amazing for the price, but it wasn’t waterproof and the tip plastic wore away with all the sand rubbing against it. So I got a Garrett Carrot 🥕 and some tecta tips. They fit over the end, and don’t affect the signal, and stop the plastic from wearing out. Every once in a while, I remove it, and clean it, and it’s like new underneath. I thoroughly recommend them. Have a great Christmas, regards from over the pond 👍 Jode.
You would love here in Australia as most of the time in parks I just set detector for $1 and $2 and if we only get $10 it’s not such a good hunt . So many are lost especially the $2 coin
Did you know that with the carrot if you get the signal do a quick press and move closer and sometimes you can do it the second time to bring the pinpointing in closer to target . Have a practice so you get the idea

Hi Jode, Merry Christmas to you and your family , I definitely need to get those tip covers 👋
Love finding lures, keeps the takle box full
A nice little perk for sure
Nice hunt Ken. It looks like a very nice area. I hope you carry a cork with you to stick those hooks into. You don't want to hook yourself. GL&HH.
Thanks 👍, and I’ll start carrying around a cork, great idea
Sweet coin spill find!
Thanks, always great to find one
@@Themetaldetectingguy Oh yeah!!!!! I love it.

I wish we had $1 and $2 coins here that were used daily

Very cool, I’ll have to try that
Hey Ken. Greetings from Spencerport NY. Really enjoyed this video.
