  • British post-punk inspired musician Billy Nomates shares with us her love for the Northern Soul genre and 80s pop. She also talks about how the current political climate has influenced her songwriting, as well as the alternative scene in her hometown Bristol. Last but not least, Billy Nomates is not a band (but her artist name) - as reiterated by Billy Nomates herself! Billy Nomates' long-anticipated debut album ‘Hippy Elite’ will be released via Invada Records on 7 August 2020. Interviewed by musician, journalist and Louder than War founder, John Robb.

I rate John Robb as a decent intelligent talented guy but I found it a bit upsetting when he smirked and laughed when Billy was saying about losing her job and being stone broke. Hi Billy regards from Kerry in Ireland, you can stay here in my spare room anytime youare in this neck of the woods. Youve got more mates than you will ever know.
