Here to say that I value your videos a lot! New Shield owner and these videos have been super helpful! They also really make me want to shell out for a grid 😂
@@cjlewis79 Went with a grid! Very happy with it as it completely expands what's possible. Worth it alone just to use MLRE and ORGWRMS imo. Compared with getting a Deluge - I'm sure that would give you a lot more functionality as it's a standalone piece of gear. I would say that the Grid is very compact and Bus powered which is very nice.
Excellent video. I watch everything on your channel and find a lot of inspiration here. As a relatively recent Norns owner I find your insights and music very enjoyable and informative
@@spzcerogotcha! To get tracks onto your norns you’ll need to connect to the same wifi (your computer & norns) and then you can connect your norns with network- much like a server. once in you will see the audio folder and here you can add your files :)
@@tworoundrobins Thnx 4 your fast reply. Im connected yup, how I can add those .mp3 files there? drag and drop using maiden? ive tried but nothing happen ;/
For myself, I have had an old Pi3b+ lying around for years, and so bought a kit and will put it all together soon. Thanks for these videos, I'll be trying out these scripts first.
hi, best way is to get it of the second market on Reverb or maybe asking on lines community as well as in the monome facebook group. as for building, you need to get the pcb somewhere or get a pcb builder company to make one for ya and then get all the other parts - in this case I suggest looking into fates :)
Lovely video, Thank you! Question for you; are any of the scripts you've shown here able to be clocked by an external midi clock? I am wanting to have a script running alongside a beat on Digitakt, but want to make sure it's in time. Thank you!
Thank you very much for this video! Very inspirational! The sound has a lovely reverb and panning enrichment (expecially in flora script), just curious...It's all from the shield or there are effects/pedals in the middle?
Thank you for checking it out! Norns has a lovely reverb integrated into it’s global settings, however for these videos I like to add a bit of reverb in post as well. I’m using the Valhalla Super Massive. It’s superb and free :)
I mean you can probably run something like this through Super Colider or even MAX for Live, but norns primarily has dawless usability meant to live in its own ecosystem
Sunday and generative norns scripts is where it's at
i love my some sunday ambient sesh ❤️

Haha welcome to the club :)
Im debating between a Deluge or a grid. Have you gotten a grid yet?

Really lovely video, I learned some new stuff about a couple of scripts that I already enjoyed. Thanks for putting this together.
of course! and thank you :)

Thank you and I’m really glad such videos can help!!
Hi there! How I can add the songs/tracks like you in the second 13:07 (Go Outside) Thnx in advance and thnx a lot for your stunning work! ^^
You have to go to PARAMETERS and go into the Source section…there you’ll find an option to add files to the script:) hope that helps
@@tworoundrobins Yes! I saw it but... first I need send the tracks into the Shield, that's the step I don't know how to :(

Awesome! Glad you joined the norns community :D
Hi! how can I build one knowing they no longer produce them? Thanks!

Hi, not sure tbh. It does have ableton link so you can sync it with your daw really easily via wifi network
Thanks! I’d love to see some granular scripts from your channel
Thank you for your feedback ! I will take a closer look and see if I can maybe make an episode on that :)
awesome video!
Thsnk ya!

Why they don't release it as a VST software? Production is now not possible and AFAIK it's not complicated device.
