    Fantastic shots. I like the shots with the 135 mm film camera more. They are better than the 6x7 shots. Especially better bokeh. The model did an amazing job.

    Your placement of her and knowledge of how the background interacts, separates and blurs with the subject is so good no matter the focal length or format. I have the f/1.7 version of that Pentax lens and if I didn't just love my Zuiko 50mm f/1.4 on my OM, it might be my favorite 50 for film, even over my Leica R 50mm 'Cron. I throw that Pentax on the tiny ME and it's just a fun camera to throw in the bag. I loved the rendering of the slide film, but overall, that Acros in the Cosina with the 50 was spectacular. Looking forward to the continuation video!

    I loved Neopan 400 and 1600 back in the early 2000s. Having returned to film photography in the last year, I was disappointed to see them gone, and a little shocked at the price of Neopan 100 II. But I really like the rendition of this film as you have done in this video - pushed to 200, developed at 400. I have a few rolls thanks to Adorama discounting their recently expired (10/21) stock, and will experiment with HC110 and Xtol in the next couple of weeks. Thanks again for the inspiration!

    • @therealsirrobin

    What ever the film you took, you have great cameras. I love you retractable one; yes, cinematic, great quality.
    I don't have time to do photos. But, of course, it's great to keep learning tips there and there.
    By the way, I have a huge chalenge ahead, an old film "agfa 100 APX", more than 2 decades... crazy.
    I believe I should Push it at least 2 times...
    And, for 2022, I wish you Health and projets to share 😉

    The portraits are fabulous. I love shooting ACROS and I’m going to try exposing it at 200 but push processing it as if it was shot at 400 like you mentioned. Is there a specific developer that was used?

    Really nice episode and images. I'm surprised the 64T didn't turn out more cool (blue), considering it's a tungsten based emulsion. Did they correct it in the scanning process?

    • @therealsirrobin

      The scans are untouched from the lab.

    Cool portraits, esp the 64TII. Interesting no 85B filter was used on the 64T type II film. Any idea how different it is from the original 64T.

    • @therealsirrobin
      @therealsirrobin  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I have no idea, all I know is that the film looks really nice. I never use a filter when shooting tungsten films because you can compensate when scanning.

      No, it's not needed and can be fixed during scanning.
