For anyone interested in the updated list I'm running now, you can find it here: aetherhub.com/Deck/abzan-control-1029551 Untapped link with stats: tinyurl.com/abzancontrol1029551 I've gone 13-0 in Platinum with it. 7-2 against Boros Aggro.
Against the Toxic deck, you mis played - The Seedcore gives a 1/1 creatuer +2/+1 which means one human token could be pumped to 3/2 to trade with the mite.
That game against 4-color control was one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen lmao. amazing content and I think you almost had it if Arena wasn't sabotaging you. I still don't understand how they got the 1st devious cover up back randomly when the game froze. I do think you targeted the devious cover up you had cast with no more lies twice on accident, hence it asking you to pay 3 twice rather than them, but that doesn't explain where the first one went. Wild stuff
Dude that's what I thought! If you watch carefully I only got ONE of them. When I right-clicked to view my opponent's exile zone, it got reordered and put near the end. It looked like I just got their second one, but I never did. When the game froze, all it did was put the one I had just cast back into my "hand" to cast it again. My brain was short-circuiting so hard I couldn't even process the No More Lies targets 😂 It was so confusing I ended up re-editing that segment twice. For a total of three times before I actually fully understood what happened.
You nailed it. What you're hoping for is being able to resolve a Deadly Cover-Up to excise the rest of their Jaces. You can survive a mill 15 just fine. Once. And without Jace, it just comes down to answering their Mirrexes, Anchorages, and Emperors and allowing them to deck themselves. Shigeki and Robbery are both good here as well since you get back a good number of answers, and the latter can be snuck in after your opponent taps out to flash back a Memory Deluge. Contrary to what CGB says, a flashback Deluge is not a game ender when you respond by ripping five cards off of their deck. If you get your hands on a couple of their counterspells, they're dead in the water. Lastly, if you're paitent enough to wait until they tap out, you can resolve a Chimil. Resolving Chimil makes your spells uncounterable. Being able to then loop Shigeki and Robbery endlessly ends games fast.
I love the flavor of finishing off people with Cease. Haven't had a way to style on people like this since Professor Onyx let you ping for lethal with Farewell.

The Leyline Binding play at 46:00 is because everyone thinks it’s any permanent when it’s an opponent’s.
Lol, I gathered as much
Thanks man, this is one of your best decks yet.
I love seeing these decks show up in the wild. Glad you enjoyed it!

Good catch!
This deck is hilariously brutal -- good stuff

@@noobknights Aha! Good catch, that explains it! I can't wait to try this list out, hopefully not against any 200+ card decks 😂
Sub'd. That was a fun 4 hours... noob question - How would you beat Blue White Control? Deadly cover up their win cons? (Jace, No More Lies)

This deck is amazing. Just had the best deadly coverup with a slime against humanity deck. Took 25 cards with deadly coverup. Got really lucky.
Robbery them until their deck is empty than cease and target them for the draw its always fun
