I live there and it's so nice to see others enjoy my home! It looks like you stayed in the south and east. The north has the Gros Islet street party every Friday night, Pigeon Island, and some of the most beautiful beach areas on the island. You'll want to eat at Duke's for some fresh fish and lambi (conch). Give it a try next visit!

Car rental wasn't that much for me to have the liberty to drive around and go wherever whenever is totally worth it. It adds up really quickly by taxi.

Hi Danielle! Thanks for watching! North is more "local life" with lots of markets & supermarkets. South is more resort life. Not many places to buy food. That's where the best beaches are. If you have a car maybe stay south and go one day to Castries to get food at the market or don't miss the "market day" in Soufrière. Enjoy it's going to be great! We're in Greece right now!

Haha Really ? We didn't meet any "stars" ! But yes it's a good option, Martinique is also great apparently and maybe cheaper. (maybe)
YOU WONT MEET STARS THEY LIKE TO BE PRIVATE BUT THEY DO VISIT THE ISLANDS
In some ways Martinique is cheaper, in other ways more expensive. But our beaches are nicer...and the Martinique folks will tell you that as well. :-)
