Jane's Addiction "Nothing Shocking" and Radiohead's "OK Computer" literally changed the trajectory of my life! You've got a great, well-rounded collection. Thanks for sharing.

Very cool, you have good taste. Owning physical media is a valuable thing and I think gives you more reverence for what you consume.

Thank you! And I fully agree. When I listen to music on my phone I tend to skip songs, listen to random ones on shuffle, etc. but with cds and vinyls I really take the time to listen to the entire album and taken in all the songs. It's truly an unmatched experience!

great collection, Im also a cd collector since the nineties that whole grunge movement thing happenes. and its still growing, since hardly any store has physical cds, at least where im at, I hey them at garage sales and thrift stores. I love the hunt for that nostalgia.... I do own an Ipod classic 129GB which has most of my collection and comes in handy when I'm in the car just jamming while I drive. I love playing the cds at hilome though there's nothing like it!! I play the songs that made me into a musician...love writing and playing the music 🎶😌
P.S. you have that No Alternative compilation cd, did you know about the hidden Nirvana track at the very end, its called "sappy" its not listed in the cd as a track. 😅

Same here! There's a couple of record stores that sell cds near me but everything is so expensive 😭 Over the years I've definitely gotten most of my cds while thrifting.
ahhhh yes the ipods! I actually have a nano 1st gen ipod that my cousin gave me ages ago. I used to play the brick breaker game on it every day 😆
Yes I did know about sappy!! I first heard sappy on the 'with the lights out' box set... and while listening to the No Alternative compilation I was so surprised to hear it. Such a fun little easter egg ✨🕺

Damn, your taste is immaculate. How did you get into the classics? Also we need more guitar videos.

Thank you so much!! Most of the music I listen to was introduced to me by my dad. He loves the 70s and 80s, so I just grew up listening to songs from that era... and then I started getting into bands from the 90s, and here we are!
I learned some new songs on guitar so maybe I should film a new video soon 😉🤣

A few records you'd probably love: You Forgot It In People by Broken Social Scene, Just Another Diamond Day by Vashti Bunyan, Odyssey and Oracle by the Zombies, Basket of Light by Pentangle, I Want to See the Bright Lights Tonight by Richard and Linda Thompson, Another Green World by Brian Eno, Bryter Layter by Nick Drake, And Then Suddenly Nothing Turned Itself Inside Out by Yo La Tango, Underachievers Please Try Harder by Camera Obscura, Milk Eyed Mender by Joanna Newsom, Forever Changes by Love, We Will Always Love You by the Avalanches, Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone? by the Unicorns.

I started around 6/7 years ago :) The first cd I ever bought for myself was the smashing pumpkins 'mellon collie and the infinite sadness' album. I had no idea who the smashing pumpkins were back then but the album cover looked cool so I decided to buy it. My love for cds just exploded from then on 💫
