The vault songs are songs she never released before. she either recorded a demo of them (that's the versions of the songs that got leaked years ago) or either haven't recorded them at all. that's how fans knew about "You All Over Me". because she did record a demo of that song and when her demos got leaked, that version got leaked as well. so that's what we (the fans) knew the song. but the re-recording of "You All Over Me" sounds different than the demo version. Mr. Perfectly Fine is a song she never recorded.
i think many of us can relate to the meaning of the song, I personally like the repetition of "Mr". I see what you mean when you say juvenile lyrics, but for me, it doesn't make this song less good. the rhythm is good and the melody is so catchy, and the song is really enjoyable. please let me know what you think.

A lot of Taylor's songs from the Fearless era have an almost punk rock edge to them, despite being sold as country pop. She was a massive fan of that genre when she was a teenager and it influenced a lot of her music. A lot of pop punk acts have actually covered her earlier songs because of how easily they fit into that styling. It's been a running theme through her entire career. It really does just go to show how genius Taylor has always been. She's such a clever musician because she is somehow able to draw in an audience that seems so out of her reach with just a few stylistic techniques. It's honestly amazing. 💕

Unpopular opinion- her Vault songs are better than any of the songs on the main album. Hear me out- she had freedom to change them any way she wanted to make them more how she would do the song, whereas the songs on original Fearless needed to stay as close to original, understandably. I am also much, much older than most Swifties and while I liked Love Story & You Belong To Me when they came out and I know all the words & notes, overall I have a hard time with a full album of teenage angsty songs especially sung by a teenager who had a nice voice but wasn’t fully matured. I had hoped with the rerecords I could handle listening to an entire album of teenager songs, but alas... but whoever cut this from the original track list should be shot. This is best song on the album.
