That thing looks pretty slick but how did the metal grips feel while shooting? Were they slick at all and do you think they'd be unpleasant if it was a chilly day for a match?
Hey, Sorry for the long response time! I think the gun has acceptable accuracy, but its not..bullseye accurate as some match pistols are. It would still work on steel targets, but its not for shooting super small groups.
Thanks for the response. That's a little disappointing. I shot the Springfield Prodigy and Staccato 2011 yesterday at the range, and am hopeful the Sar will have the same accuracy at a lower price. Along with the Sig p320 X-Five Legion and the CZ Shadow, those four are the most accurate for me. All have Dawson style rear sights, similar sight radius and total weight to reduce recoil. @@WVGunsNGoats
Mine is an excellent gun, change the front sight to a fiber optic it makes a world of difference!
You know, i hadnt even looked for aftermarket sights for the pistol yet. I'll give them a look, Thanks!
@@WVGunsNGoats all internal parts are compatible with Tanfoglio, front fiber optic sight is compatible with Magnum Research Baby Eagle.

They felt fine while shooting, although as you said, i bet they would get pretty hot in direct sunlight and cold in the winter.
i lost the top screw of the rear sight.. i wonder where you can find a replacement
I would try calling SAR USA.
Good video, thank you
And thank you for watching!
Several months down the road, can you comment on the accuracy? Does this compare favorably with other match target pistols?

They needed to put a red dot cut on it.. IMO any pistol geared towards competition should be red dot ready!
After finally getting to shoot a red dot on a plate rack, 1000%.
