Even before its official release, the car became the talk of the town. With this new edition, the local auto industry will surely diversify, and people will have more options to choose from.
The Kia Picanto is a city car produced by the South Korean manufacturer Kia since 2004. It is 3595mm in length and just 2385mm between the wheels. Picanto has a refined engine with lesser noise issues. The EURO-6 compliant engine is quick and responsive, but never fast as the 68 HP figure suggests. NEDC rates the Picanto for up to 23 km/l.
KIA Picanto is available in two variants. Picanto Manual price in Pakistan is PKR 1,899,000 and Picanto Automatic price in Pakistan is PKR 1,999,000.

Has 3 headrests in rear, has bucket seats, better paint and build quality ( personal opinion),rear wipers and adjustable seat height. Worth the extra 1.5 lacs.
Maybe the manuel feels less value for money against Cultus but the automatic seems fine with its price.

I went to the Kia showroom in Bara Kahu, Islamabad, to see Picanto. I inspected the car myself for about 15 minutes. None of the sales representatives came to answer my questions or to provide information. They were busy with customers interested in Sportage. In the end, I asked the receptionist about the salesperson and I was simply told, "they're in a meeting." When I was leaving the showroom only then a salesperson came and asked, "how may I help you?" to which I replied, Good Bye!

after all cars review, i have decided that this car is much better than cultus by comparing features... before I thought of missing ABS, but now its clear that picanto possess this feature as well..
Much awaited review, and as always honest review. Because of this car Suzuki Cultus price did not increased recently and this is what we call competition and it benefits consumer. There should be more 1000 CC cars in Pakistan so that the prices become fair.
This car seems good build quality but less rare passenger space which is its huge negative point.
That is just psychological thing .it has same space that Cultus has .

There is just 5mm difference in width.
But now cultus auto is expensive 😕
I am losing interest in cars by how things are going these basic cars are know becoming dream cars 🤔

you forgot two things. You can't turn on the headlights without putting in the key. Even if you turn them on, only the fog lights turn on. They headlights will only turn on when the key is plugged in.
2nd thing is that, if you've arrived your destination and you've forgot to turn off the headlights and you went away from the car. Once you press the lock button, the car itself turns off the headlights. That is quite impressive.

I also have new model cultus but when i visit their dealership then i realize that picanto build in quality is too much better than cultus and it also have many extra features than cultus. So i have mind to shift from cultus to picanto.

And yes this is second generation and internationally there is 3rd generation.then what about wagon r and city which models of them r in pakistan and which were in internationally.why not suzuki luanches wagon r ags variant in new model which is in india.alto whose pricing in 3 to 4 times increase.so appreciate new arrival and good product.
Parts are not readily available ( the DRL in front bumper keep on Melting and need warranty claim and 1 week wait even now ) , fuel average is around 10 to 12 kmpl , expensive maintenance the warranty period of 3 to 4 years is only there if you get it maintained every 3 months oil change no electric modifications etc and they charge maintenance fee on every trip which makes it expensive to maintain) , Rear leg room for a tall guy is almost non-existent , good if you are short or have kids or drive alone mostly, rims in current price are very expensive and i wouldn't recommend, go for screen upgrade from Kia , but get good camera and get it installed by the dealership your rear light warranty is void in this , good comfortable seats, good performance of engine and gearbox , good built quality, the front lights are high up so visibility is an issue at night as light isn't that much on the road , and those DRLs turn off when headlight is on , no separate switch.
Overall if a little bad fuel average, less leg space in rear , and higher maintenance cost ( which company should bring down by allowing oil change only when 5000 km are done or it's past 6 months atleast, to avoid voiding warranty ) isn't much of your concern, best car in this segment.

I have Suzuki Cultus 19 model. If i would have another chance to buy a 1000 cc i will definitely go for kia picanto. Its definitely better than cultus

(Please correct) The budget for normal people is under 1 million for buying cars, not over 2 million. So this car won't fall under the budget category. Only United Bravo and Price Pearl fall under budget cars.

Bro vitz is best in 20 lacs comes in different engine options but lack some features but vitz has push start multimedia steering with cruise control lane keep assist and firstly it also cames in 1.5 nz hybrid engine which also add extra options and safety features

20lakh for hatch back car is too much. In this price you can buy 2015 gli, 2013 Honda civic, 2012 to 2013 corolla altis.
