Nothing is every more funny to me than when a cheater still gets smoked. My favorite was one of your older videos when two cheaters tried to ambush 1 dude at a castle and the dude smoked both of them lol.
Cheaters complain about other cheaters for a couple reasons. One: To look like a regular honest to goodness player. Two: Because the other cheater pissed them off by taking away their perceived power. Cheaters are actually pretty easy to understand from a phycological perspective. They lack skill and have a hard time accepting failure. Much like an addict they will make excuses for their behaviors, maybe not out loud, but to themselves. Many of them lack any real friendships in life and look for people that will enable their behavior. That's another reason they try to be sociable and fit in by calling out "cheaters".
I wouldnt really say they lack skill. Im sure a few are very capable but they want the lime light quickly so they take the fast route to make it to the leaderboards.
@@Marin3r101 There are definitely exceptions, some cheaters are most likely very skilled even without cheats, but I do think that most of them, a vast majority of them, cheat because they lack the skill to compete without cheats. But most of all I think they lack the patience, dedication and discipline it takes to get good at a difficult game like DayZ. It's all about instant gratification.

I would suggest that you use the prison in the game and have the doors locked in it. Let them respawn in there with no gear or clothes. But keep them fed and hydrated so respawning won't happen.
Cheaters have gotten wise to when to play haha. They come on right as you're planning to sleep and hope to make it through the gates. Or in that time when you're going to eat. Good video as always!

I found this game from one of your videos. The mod POV makes it look really fun. As a new player it's mind boggling how many different mechanics are in this game. Lots to learn and very hard to survive the first few days if you don't watch tutorials. Even if I don't continue playing the game, I'm pretty sure I will continue watching your content.

I have always wondered while watching these videos if the rifle / gun is also visible to other players since we can see it too (1:08) course if so it would be very funny to see a rifle run by you :D

For some reason this kind of remind me of the old, OLD days of Counter-Strike when people would import bright neon colored character models so they could see people easier in general, but especially people crouching in dark corners. Obviously it's not ESP or aimbotting, but the "scum" models only existed for that purpose, unlike other models you could download to look more badass, or look like another police force, or silly ones, etc.
I modded CS and DoD to hell in back changing weapons, sounds, uniforms and animations to look/sound as realistic as possible (which made it more difficult depending on what side you're on). People who cheat are pieces of shit.
I don't even play Day Z, I mean I have before, and would like to again sometime soon.. (but your videos make me skeptical on doing so, just because you showcase so many cheaters) But, I am addicted to these videos. Nothing more satisfying than seeing cheaters get handled. Props to you.

I have never encountered as many cheaters as you have with 808 hours played total.Then again I'm more of a PVE guy, i dislike PVP in DayZ. Hey Anarchy! I was part of a CoD clan back years ago. We had what we called a security team, which i was part of. I absolutely loved catching cheaters, almost more than actually playing, lol. Great vids btw.
Anarchy- How about a special year end video on just how many cheaters you have had to remove, and the other mods have had to remove over the last year? It might really open some folks eyes as to how bad the cheating is that spoils the game for others. (Hi to Lt. Pickle too!)
We all love the Cheeto Burrito videos. I do think it would be cool to see some of the suspicious peeps, that you investigate and find not guilty. I suspect you may just have the process tuned to that you are only investigating people pretty much guilty and you just need the evidence.

The fact that people still say you don't have enough evidence just proves a lot of people don't understand what cheats even look like. They have to actually see the boxes on screen to think they're cheating... lol
Agree 100%. I think people who say it's not enough evidence just don't understand how _compound probability_ works. Like if Anarchy is invisible then yes, the suspected cheater can definitely happen to look his direction without cheats. Split the suspects full field of view (360 degrees) up into say 10 slices, he might look at the right "slice" the first time; a one in 10 probability. 10%. It can definitely happen. Then Anarchy, still invisible, flanks and moves to another spot. If the suspect is still looking at him then it's a 10 percent of 10 percent probability (0.10 x 0.10). In other words a one in 100 probability, or 1%. Now it's looking very unlikely that the suspect is not cheating, but let's give him the benefit of the doubt. Don't wanna ban an innocent player. So Anarchy doesn't stop there. He repeats the process at least three and maybe four or five times more, which means that the probability of the suspect looking in Anarchy's direction every time is less than one in 100,000, or one in a million, or one in ten million. At this point the evidence is so overwhelming that all reasonable doubt is gone, since long. People regularly get sentenced to prison based on much less evidence than that.

The people who say you don't get enough evidence, are most likely cheaters themselves. Because I've never played DayZ, but even I know that aiming at someone both out of sight and invisible is not something a legit player would do. Yo I just had a great idea when you mentioned "tracking people" that would be cool if you could track footsteps that varied with the terrain, you know snow its easy to see them, pavement you don't really see any etc. Also what if you could track people by wind direction and smell because that happens a lot in real life tracking too.
I had an instance of admin abuse and i figured since the guy couldnt play he needed to have fun somehow, and its DayZ, you expect to lose your stuff. Guy compensated me enough that if he ever wanted to do it again im nit gonna complain

I think the reason Cheaters are always complaing about cheaters are 1. Reflecting own behaviour on others: "The other one was better than me, therefore he must be cheating (as i am cheating)", and 2. Trying to "reverse psychology" their way out of it. "If i complain about cheaters in a game, it must mean im not a cheater"

You need a plugin that shows you when you've been shot, by who, and where it hits. Then you can poke your head out and see if they're aimbotting it.

I suspect you may just have the process tuned to that you are only investigating people pretty much guilty and you just need the evidence.

The fact that people still say you don't have enough evidence just proves a lot of people don't understand what cheats even look like. They have to actually see the boxes on screen to think they're cheating... lol
Agree 100%. I think people who say it's not enough evidence just don't understand how _compound probability_ works.
Like if Anarchy is invisible then yes, the suspected cheater can definitely happen to look his direction without cheats. Split the suspects full field of view (360 degrees) up into say 10 slices, he might look at the right "slice" the first time; a one in 10 probability. 10%. It can definitely happen.
Then Anarchy, still invisible, flanks and moves to another spot. If the suspect is still looking at him then it's a 10 percent of 10 percent probability (0.10 x 0.10). In other words a one in 100 probability, or 1%. Now it's looking very unlikely that the suspect is not cheating, but let's give him the benefit of the doubt. Don't wanna ban an innocent player.
So Anarchy doesn't stop there. He repeats the process at least three and maybe four or five times more, which means that the probability of the suspect looking in Anarchy's direction every time is less than one in 100,000, or one in a million, or one in ten million.
At this point the evidence is so overwhelming that all reasonable doubt is gone, since long. People regularly get sentenced to prison based on much less evidence than that.

The people who say you don't get enough evidence, are most likely cheaters themselves. Because I've never played DayZ, but even I know that aiming at someone both out of sight and invisible is not something a legit player would do. Yo I just had a great idea when you mentioned "tracking people" that would be cool if you could track footsteps that varied with the terrain, you know snow its easy to see them, pavement you don't really see any etc. Also what if you could track people by wind direction and smell because that happens a lot in real life tracking too.

I had an instance of admin abuse and i figured since the guy couldnt play he needed to have fun somehow, and its DayZ, you expect to lose your stuff. Guy compensated me enough that if he ever wanted to do it again im nit gonna complain

I think the reason Cheaters are always complaing about cheaters are 1. Reflecting own behaviour on others: "The other one was better than me, therefore he must be cheating (as i am cheating)", and 2. Trying to "reverse psychology" their way out of it. "If i complain about cheaters in a game, it must mean im not a cheater"
