Samhain, they say the veil is thin. For me the ones who came before me are closer in this time of the year and I feel them. Samhain is not only for one day for me, it's for a few weeks. I will know when they are all far in their world when I will not feel my old kitty anymore (he's first to arrive each year and last to leave). I think that your grands parents let you know that they are there for you and you should not be afraid with the path you have chosen. So that's why I know so little about him but now I have started to ask more things from my father and I will write things down if someone wan't to know and remember them when I'm gone also.

I went to a gypsy fortune teller at my elementary school when they were having a fair and I do remember her saying something along the lines of facing some rough times but that at one point my life would turn around. So interesting. I would be leery of doing a reading for someone so young because we are so impressionable at that age. I can't say I carried this news around with me like a pall or anything but I do think of it when times are rough.
