  • After heading out for a routine day of appointments, Montana state auditor Walter Sullivan disappears. Nine days later, his body is found at the bottom of a cliff beside his mangled car. Sullivan has been bludgeoned, bound and gagged and shot through the back of his neck.
    Despite the best efforts of local sheriff Dave Robbins, the case goes unsolved for five years. But when a new investigator is assigned the case, he makes the unusual decision to turn to psychic Noreen Renier for help.
    But can a psychic, hundreds of miles away, help solve the mystery of what happened to the taxman? Or will a vengeful, violent killer remain at large?
    Real-life crimes take on a supernatural turn when high-tech detective work meets the paranormal powers of a psychic.

    • @BS-dq1kz

      Yes they likely aren’t used enough because so many people are frauds and claim to know answers and really do not. I’ve seen shows where the detectives have talked about that specifically. I do absolutely believe some people do have psychic capabilities though! Obviously.

    I'm a retired government Auditor just like what this victim was, and there are some scary situations. Companies (well, only a few) don't want us there because they figure that when we're done with the audit that it's going to cost them (employer/company) money.
    All in all though it's not always like that.

    It is so weird that they didn’t arrest him on the spot. They had a confession. And why didn’t they try to identify his friends with the psychic? Surely they were not very far. What about his wife? What seems obvious now was surely different in the nineties. Bless his coworker for what she did. And thanks to law inforcement to go ahead with a psychic🙏🙏🙏

    • @SushiRosePlays
      @SushiRosePlays 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Even if someone confesses, they can plead not guilty. If someone doesn't testify, anything they say cannot legally be used in court, even confessions.
      If police don't have evidence to back up a claim, the case has nothing to go on except hearsay.
      Keep in mind that many sick individuals have "confessed" to murders they haven't done for attention, or their mental health issues leads them to internalize other people's lives as their own.
      Not to mention how many times gangs have gotten fall guys to plead guilty just to save their own skin.
      Confessions don't mean anything without evidence, and any law practitioner willing to stake their case on no evidence is likely not a practitioner of law.

    this case could have gone cold if it were not for several people of Montana State : S. Mohr who, after 6 yrs of inactivity, brought attention about the killing of her co-worker; the Attorney General with local police dept., pressured to solve this case; and to Noreen R, who gave psychic insight to what happened. The building named after a truly dedicated employee was such a nice gesture.

    If only the other two accomplices were identified and somehow convinced. They viciously ambushed and helped murder this poor man. If they were willing to do that, there's little doubt they've been involved with other violent crime. Were they friends of this creep? Hired? Were they paid? Were bank withdrawals or checks written at or near the time of the killing? Was that woman 'interviewed' by the police & could she had been held for Aiding & Abetting in an attempt to get the names of the other men? Such good hearted diligent people in this story yet a woman & two killers got away. I feel there's more to this story that just wasn't revealed in this program, likely due to production, time limitations and other circumstances. Hats off to all those who brought down this guy & gave the family much needed answers & if any of his family & friends read these comments, you have my very deepest sympathy.

    • @toomanydonuts
      @toomanydonuts ปีที่แล้ว

      You can start by pleading not guilty if you were arrested. They need some direct proof in front of a jury. Circumstantial proof might not be enough unless it's really substantial. Actual possession of the money is really what matters. If they cannot tie you to the money like with a video of you stealing it or someone who saw you do it that's a problem for them.
      Do not speak to the police, get a court appointed lawyer if you have no money. Do not accept a plea deal if you're not guilty. Let the prosecutor take it to a jury trial. A lot of times prosecutors will press BS charges with no evidence until the defendant fights back by taking it to a trial and then they might drop the charges because they had no case in the first place and it cost the state $ to take you through a jury trial.

      I agree. She obstructed justice & lied to the LEO's.
      I understand why she lied. But there is a legal way to avoid ratting out your husband, or wife.
      She didnt have to talk to the cops & answer their questions. And they cant make her testify in court against her husband.
      Admittedly, he was a tax evading murderer & a friggin idiot.
      He could have worked with the IRS to pay the back taxes. He may even of went to jail for a short time. But murder pretty much throws your arse away in prison. Possibly for life.
      That's like cliff jumping, with huge boulders at the bottom, by the water. Then jumping off the friggin cliff blindfolded & backwards.
      Also, the murderer either didnt put much thought into the murder, or he's a complete idiot. He left evidence everywhere, that led right back to him.

      @@maryannanderson7517 Do you know about copyright? Did you know TH-camrs have to add loud music or other annoyances to their uploaded videos so they aren’t given a strike by TH-cam? TH-cam works with the original owners of many shows and has agreed with them that they will take down the channels where they put up videos that are too close to the original. After a few strikes from TH-cam, the channel is then taken down. There are laws and rules in this world and even here on TH-cam. The show owners want people paying to watch their shows. Not getting them for free on here.

    Disagree. I can remember when I lie. I literally experience my chosen story as a memory when I tell it. I see myself doing every little detail of it. I even feel the temperature of my chosen day.

      Agree 100%, especially when I tell a story to the cops.
      I tell it as close to the truth as possible and memorize the few small changes; (and I avoid going into any details).

    I hope after his body was found, his co-worker who called the Governor's office and got the statement "He'll show up when he sobers up" called the person who said that to her and gave her a new one for her stupid and insensitive remark. Pity you can't lock people up for just being bone dumb. I hope the Governor carefully considered whether he really needed a person like this on his staff!

    Why won’t on of these people go FIND ONE OF THE CAN AM MISSING 411 people
    There’s over 1,600 of them that have went missing without a trace. Native Americans can’t track them and their professional tracking Dog’s can’t track them.
    For some reason these 1600 people aren’t leaving any type of trail. Or if they do,, The trail seems to always end within feet from where they were seen last
    It’s almost as if they are being plucked up into the sky.
    PEOPLE PLEASE HELP CAN-AM MISSING 411 PROJECT

    The man was not anti-income tax, nor does being anti-income tax (AKA theft), have anything to do with being anti-government. You’re just anti-government theft. There is no law in the tax code that requires any American to pay any portion of wages to the government. Eugene was, in fact, a thief himself. Had he been anti-income tax, he wouldn’t have withheld taxes from his employees’ wages, only to pocket them himself!
