you can always grind magic stones from the wall mini game and bring magic up higher than jowy and mcdohl if you wanted too. the game is far too easy tho, I've never felt like "oh man I don't know about this fight" I've always gone into fights knowing I was going to win.

its so unfair that Mcdohl and Jowy got higher magic stats than Riou, the game is too easy and broken as you grind and level up, at least make it hard

The game was never intended to have a hard diffculty to begin with as mentioned by Yoshitaka Murayama.
