I love the emotional thesaurus. My editor suggested it to me, and it has come in handy a lot with my writing, especially when I can't figure out how to describe an emotion. I would like to get the other books in the series
I use the emotion thesaurus. I love it. I use it on my kindle app on my phone. I can just click on the emotion and it takes me right to the page. I can take it with me wherever I write. ❤
I have the Emotion thesaurus series on my Kindle (all 10). But I decided it would be better to have them in paperback so I ordered 8 (just not the Rural & Urban thesauruses). Two of them arrived today. They are bigger than I thought they would be! Love that I can access all of the information so effortlessly! The thesauruses will be so helpful - my story will be character driven, not plot driven. 😍
I'm so dramatic. I nearly cried watching this because I've been feeling like a horrible writer. I've been writing for roughly twenty years but I repeat words, phrases, and dialogue. This is incredibly helpful. I feel like I can start making progress in my writing again.💛
I recommend Stephen King's "On Writing" Lovecraft's "Notes on Writing Fiction" Both help, regardless of genre. As for inspiration, I collected over 24,000 writing prompts.
I have all of those thesaurus series and they are do helpful. Love them all, especially the occupation one because I suck at the jobs for parents etc 😅
LOVE the emotional wound thesaurus...now I'm curious about the amplifier one. I'm a discovery writer too and only think (very carefully because if I think too hard about it my brain melts) about plotting when I'm editing. Haven't tried Save the Cat because plotting books aren't really my thing though I didn't mind Superstructure and Write Your Book from the Middle by...? Can't remember his name! lol. I just finished Writing Into the Dark by Dean Wesley Smith who actually encourages writing without an outline though he's a bit hardcore and doesn't believe in editing at all. Great video, thanks for all the info -- will definitely check out the other thesauruses..thesauri?
Ooh, this is so helpful! I might have to get a few of these. Also, as someone who lives in a rural area, when I say it out loud, it sounds like "rule". But my Midwest accent also makes me pronounce "butter" as "budder", so take that with a grain of salt. 😂

I love thesauruses too! Couldn't do without them.

I’m loving this video I feel like it’s one of the first video I saw with someone recommending books I think I could need 🤩

7 figure fiction by Theodora Taylor is a great resource for understanding how Universal Fantasy can elevate your writing to the next level!
Nicholas C. Rossis - Emotional Beats and Jean Kent & Candace Shelton - The Romance Writer's Phrase Book. Both books are game changers.
I've got most of those books you mentioned! They are very helpful especially the series.
