Costs around $1.80 to print a 13 x 16 inch transfer per their website. That’s significantly cheaper than what I spend for my gang sheets! Pretty impressive at its price point. Excited to hear an update later on. Thanks!
I have been researching DTF printers for a long time and one of the main reasons I haven't pulled the trigger is because of the white ink circulation. Very impressed to see that it has that built in as well as the printhead Auto cleaner. I can't wait to see your tutorial of the DTF wood project!
That’s how I felt at first too with the worry about the maintenance! But this one is super easy! I’m obsessed with the wood projects! One press on wood makes it smooth- second quick press makes it look like a canvas painting! 😍
Hello Sallie, I just bought the DTF printer in your video :) I'm a bit confused still about Maintenace though. How do you keep your Maintenace on yours and can you do a video on this? Thank you in advanced!
I want one so bad! I’m so happy that they sent you a free one! That’s awesome! How much is the ink ? I’m trying to figure out if I’m going to convert a printer into DTF or just buy a DTF printer. Thanks !
I'm sure you will, but you should do a video on the time it takes for the whole process of 1 t shirt. Apart from printing I estimated around 5 Minutes in your process. And you said to another commenter prints can be from 4-15 minutes on top of that. Would love to see the time n materials n ink n profit cost per shirt on average. I'm sure it'll take a minute, but I'm assuming about $10 profit on each shirt at $25 a shirt. On the low end I'm assuming that'll be about $30hr. We shall see
esalam alikoum gurl i loved the video and i was more impressed by how you choose and how on point your words are, would you make a video and tell us about your journey with that ?!
Is there any daily maintenance? Do you have to buy or get a shaker for the white ink? How much does it cost for you to produce a large 11x11? And how long does it take to print 11x11? Please lmk I’m trying to choose between this and another
The maintenance is super easy. The reason I didn’t buy a printer to begin with is because I was worried about the maintenance. They have a tutorial on their website and it’s just some basic wiping things down and all. Super simple. You do not have to buy anything extra. It has all you need and it has white ink circulation system set up in the printer. I haven’t done enough prints to estimate the cost per print- I do know I’ve printed a ton and it hasn’t even made a dent in the ink or paper roll. The length of time I’ve found varies depending on how detailed your design is. Some designs print in like 4 mins- some take longer like 15! They have more info on their website on how many inches per hour and all! 😊
I've been looking at this printer for several months now. I think I'm gonna take the plunge & get it! 😊 Also if you don't mind my asking, where did you get that floral image from. It's really cute.
Hi ! I've been debating about DTF machines and which to get. How are the fumes with this machine ? Also, approximately how long does it take to make one piece? Thank you!
I am getting ready to try and do AD. T FI pulled 4 different things, J pegs SV g's to try and create this, not sure how it's going to look on a shirt. Any advice would be alphone.. this is for use at work, not for sale, I can dm you if you would like to see image.
SO CLOSE... I'm$440 away from being able to get it😬😬😮💨😁😆😆 So excited!!! But for the black Friday sale its not giving me 100 off with your code only $10!! ☹️ Thanks again for your videos! You're awesome🎉
I am so particular with the finish of the DTF transfers. The one's that I have ordered, have this sheen to it and I hate it. But looking at the design of your transfers, I am blown away. Can you confirm that the designs have a matte finish? This would be a game changer for me because I would be able to print my own instead of ordering them online.
I use levoit in our house and love them! Got mine on Amazon. You can get different filters for different environments. They have toxin ones, pet filters, regular, etc.
With the maintenance of this printer and refilling of ink with regular printing, would you say it saves money vs ordering DTF transfer gang sheets? Thanks for the video! Love your vids
I do believe this would be cheaper than ordering transfers and gang sheets. I will know for sure the exact amount spent once I get through a whole roll and how many prints and sizes I can get from each. I’m keeping track of it! Obviously the initial investment is more but I believe it would pay off if someone was planning on doing this as a business for sure!
If you cure them after the powder, you can keep them stored no problem. Just want to cure the image with the adhesive powder or it can be easy to smear the ink.
I have been on the fence about making a DTF purchase due to cost and maintenance. Thanks for doing this video. I completely trust what you say and what you use as far as products. The only thing I have also thought about is exposure to toxic chemicals. I believe they have an extra purifier to purchase but I also need a well ventilated area so I would have to leave a window open. What are you using to avoid toxins?
@@SimplySallie awesome thank you. Just wanna say over 2 years ago I started seeing your videos. I wanted to do signs and ended up in Sublimation, DTF, and embroidery and that’s where my small business Make It Mama was birthed. It will be 3 years now and I’m still pushing!
@Simply Sallie Honest opinion on this, how long have you had it and is it worth it? I just purchased one. Hopefully I didn’t make a mistake. Please respond.
Totally get it and you are able to choose that for yourself! From what I’ve noticed is most issues can be due to improper maintenance, settings, not using their brand ink, and file issues.
