We were just out trolling on Long Lake a few days ago, now that I see how the pros do it, I have confidence that we will catch something next time. I recognize the lakes as I fish alot of them last year. Do you eat them? Keep any?
If you are referring to the long lake in St Agatha, that is a lake I've been wanting to fish for years. We release most fish but keep one for the table every once in a while. Thank you for watching.

Due to the amount of people watching our videos and the way people hunt us down on the lake we do not disclose the the lakes that we fish. The best way to find a new Lake is to check the stocking reports and Lake surveys on the inland fisheries and wildlife web page. These two things will tell you just about everything you need to know about any particular lake that you are looking at. If you are fishing a place that has salmon in it and you're not catching you need to do something different. Whether it be change your depth, trolling speed, bait, size of bait, lure, all the way down to the pound test leader you have on. Sometimes it's easy to figure out other times at the end of the day your left scratching your head wondering why you couldn't get on top of them. Another thing to look for while looking through the laws for Lakes is anywhere that has a unlimited bag limit for salmon under 16 in. These places are chukar block full of small salmon that needs to be culled from the lake, with bigger fish in the mix. Now is the time of year to be exploring when the water temp is at its prime for early-season fishing as opposed to June July when the water has warmed up. Best of luck and tight lines

Late spring they are tough to find, but if you post the question on FB someone may be able to direct you to the closest bait shop.
