They still had their rough moments that they had to overcome, which is also indicative of a solid marriage I'd argue. They were just exceptionally written characters. Also, I love the cow looking them over then moving over to Connie Britton. Feel like that wasn't planned, but just great acting and directing, so it just comes off as organic.
The coach of Brant seems like a decent guy in this episode same guy plays the Laribee coach in next season (Coach Dickies) I think was his name if Taylor dealt with that guy no way he agreed to play on that field.
