    I'm only an intermittent viewer so I apologize if I missed something or these questions are ignorant, but what happened to the brief notes at the beginning of videos informing us about the mission, game mode (coop or pvp), etc? Those were quite informative. Also, I feel like I haven't seen a pvp mission in a while, is ShackTac still doing them?

      Dyslyecxi had said that they had put the PvP missions on hold because of a few different things. During the title cards there's still some text saying game mode, and map but its a bit smaller than it used to be.

    Will there be a version of this with Crane's view? I've come to really appreciate having the little window. If not, no big deal!

    Footage like this is some of my favorite that I enjoy coming back to! Being able to see both what the pilot and gunner see like this is great.

      Not really. I take off slightly differently in general, but nothing aside from that that really comes to mind. Not in Arma, at least.

    Love the gamplay and imerssion, but can she please stop saying i am sorry all the time :) we are all beginners in the start and the learningcurve in this game is steep :p she is doing a great job

    I cant argue with results but, why not use Sidewinders on those helos? Are they reserved for fast movers?

    What are the chances they'll improve ground stabilization? It really shouldn't be that jumpy in this aircraft

      Perryman1138 Stabilization in vanilla aircraft works fine. RHS has always been a bit at odds with everything.

      gil riv you can, but normally the run was ruined by the failed attempt. In the real world you got their attention and it would not be advisable to re-attack.
      I assume, I'm no pilot.

    Is there something new in the sounds for your ArmA 3?
    I've been a long time watcher but I just really noticed tonight certain things that really deepen the immersion on the sound.
    the creaking of the airframe as you clear off a target and stress the frame.... also the distant muted low frequency ground detonations outside the cockpit is another.

      Maybe I just noticed it because this time I was listening with my headphones rather than my desktop's normal system.
      (Normally I don't use headphone while watching TH-cam videos, but only when I'm gaming).
      OH and as an aside... Encourage Crane to start posting her own videos too. I know she has a TH-cam Channel, and that she records (source of your own PIP work)... But other than a handful of old Minecraft Vids... She's got nuthin'
      If Crane were to start uploading her own Shack Tac experiences... she'd have a ton of followers overnight.
      Not just because she's a girl gamer... But her wit and humor is excellent, as well as is her gameplay style.
      You and Crane make an excellent dynamic duo, playing off each other's comments and wit.

    I have a question regarding how you approach CAS. Firstly, being that my group runs the same mods as your group I understand how "OP" the AH-64 can be (and by extent the littlebird in the right hands). You could easily mop the map with that single chopper. Are there guidelines that your group follows when you have such assets? you might accidentally take all the fun away from your pFNGs. or alternatively... How do you regulate your gameplay?

      From what I recall, SOP for their CAS is to leave infantry and light vehicles for ground to kill, except when there are so many targets that friendly forces are being overwhelmed.

      Uisce Beatha I think they also coddle themselves by not using certain weapons or systems. As the longbow would make this a lot easier.

      Thanks to all who replied. I think I get it. So if I want to make CAS available, we may need to have limitations defined in the operating procedures. Putting it all on the discipline of the CAS team themselves. "Great power" and all that. Thank you.

      I noticed that; several times in the mission they explicitly leave vehicles alone for the ground team to engage. It sounds like there are a variety of reasons, among them being an enhanced experience for the ground forces.

    When you mentioned engaging SPG's but leaving other light vehicles for infantry to deal with I remembered a realization I came to watching some of ST content from an infantry perspective.
    When a vehicle is encountered that can't simply have the driver/gunner shot by a regular infantry weapon, I notice nobody ever shoots out the vehicles tires. Is this because you find it to be an easy exploit to disable a vehicle and cause the crew to dismount? Or is there some other reason? Or I simply never notice it happening

      It's mostly because everything tougher than a uaz also have pretty tough tires. And in the case of a btr the thing has 8(can still move if at least 2 are on both sides). If you have a gpmg you can try shooting out tires, but is angering an armored thing with very deadly guns the smartest thing to do?

      Yeah the main reason they shoot the wheels, is because of how the AI works. If a vehicle is mobility killed they will bail.

      vehicle tires are very resilient. It takes somewhere in the range of 30 to 40 rounds to pop *one* tire of a brdm, and the AI don't necessarily respond to a single tire pop. It isn't as easy to force the AI to bail as it was in A2, so light AT makes more sense.
