Red fox takes dead Blackbird away (trail camera)

2 weeks ago I found a dead blackbird nearby, at a distance of 15 meters from my trail camera. I moved it closer to the trail camera, however initially the fox wasn't interested. Finally, after waiting 2 weeks, the fox found it and took it away. Next day the fox came back to verify the location again...
