For the first timers, this song might look like they were playing the instruments randomly. But when you start listening to this regularly, it gets stuck in your head and it seems like they were playing exactly in sync. God, I just love Japanese pop/rock songs!! This is my kind of music!

Lisa Kan I have to say Tokyo ghoul does the absolute best job of choosing opening themes that can sum up the feeling and meaning of the season. Unravel, munou and asphyxia all encapsulate their respective seasons perfectly. Whoever chooses them needs a Grammy nod.

I can feel kaneki's character flowing through all the lyrics. It's a harmony of sadness and vivid emotions. Freedom and suffocation, floating and drowning, all of these create this masterpiece.

After they made Kaneki join the Aogiri, the plot was ruined. There's a scene in :Re that shows Tsukiyama reminiscing on a scene that shows Banjo, Kaneki (with white hair), and Hinami sitting together. This scene would've been impossible because of Kaneki joining the Aogiri in the anime. That scene only happened in the manga.
I love how this music is both chaotic and like a bittersweet love song. It beautifully portrayed the tragedy of Kaneki having a changed life as Haise Sasaki as well as jumpstarting a new chapter in his story with the Quinx. The first time I heard it, it felt Soo much like this song took some nostalgic inspiration from Tokyo Ghoul √A's opening MUNOU by Österreich, the way it's melody took sudden shifts in tune like the former!
