Besides changing how Johnny gets plus frames and mixups (which I can easily see this change even if it was in Xrd, considering how prevalent the lockdown projectile into mixup strategy was), he is pretty recognizable and more intact than a bunch of characters that made the transition. I mean, look at Ram or Elphelt. Their kits are unrecognizable from Xrd to Strive.
