Hi Bhai Very good video and detailed one. I am planning to go from Srinagar to Killar in Skoda Slavia in November. Want to know few things 1. How long is bad patch 2. Ground clearance of Slavia is okay comparatively, what do you suggest 3. What time I should start my journey from Srinagar to reach Killar by 6 PM 4. How much time it takes normally from Srinagar to Killar, is it possible in one day?
Thanks for liking the video 🙏 and please don't forget to hit the subscribe button. There are two ways to reach Kishtwar from Srinagar.... From Ramban Batote and other from Sinthan Top. The Sinthan Top road is a bit short from the other one. So the total distance from Srinagar to Kishtwar would be around 340-380 kms depending on which route you take. The road from Batote side is under construction and may take time. From kishtwar to Gulabgarh, the condition of the road is okay but you will find some narrow sections of the road . From Gulabgarh to Killar, the distance would be around 60 kms and it will not take more than 2-3 hours depending upon the driving skill and vehicle. Skoda Slavia can go to Killar but you need to take care of your car when you cross Gulabgarh. There are some bumpy patches and some highly inclined blind curves that needs to be taken care of. The section that is considered as the most dangerous section is reduced to 2-3 kms and again you need skills to drive there . Let me.k ow if any other information is required. I would be happy to share it.
@@gonomadswithrohit Thanks for replying in almost no time :) I am taking Srinagar - Anantnag - Sinthan Top - Kishtwar - Killar route Is it possible to cover it in 10-11 hours? Else I will leave one day in advance from Srinagar and stay at Kishtwar and next day I will go to Killar My ultimate goal is to reach Sissu next day and stay for a day or two. I have bike riding experience to Ladakh from Mumbai 3 times and covered 15 states on bike. Car Experience - Covered almost 10 states including hairpin bends of Ooty and other ghat sections. Hope this will help me. I know driving in Jammu n Himachal is totally different experience, I would love to hear from experts mouth :) Thanks again
@@jayesh3294 yes, you should reach Killar in 10-14 hours depending upon the road conditions and your driving skills. You won't find any issue till Gulabgarh but when you cross Gulabgarh, the road construction work is going on as the old dangerous killar Kishtwar road has been closed for public now. So that is the only section now, I think is a bit time taking.
@@gonomadswithrohit Thanks for quick response, let me try to go directly from Srinagar to Killar in that case, will try to leave by 8 in the morning and reach by 6 PM
Also just for the information, the actual road from Killar to Kishtwar has been closed and a new alternate route is constructed which is I believe a bit longer than the earlier one.

Hello, how much time did you took from Satrundi to Kishtwar. As I am planning to do this next month. TIA
It depends on the weather as well as the amount of time you spend on the go. But take it as 8-10 hrs atleast.
Also just for the information, the actual road from Killar to Kishtwar has been closed and a new alternate route is constructed which is I believe a bit longer than the earlier one.
@@gonomadswithrohit is it worth going through the new road
