My brother has found dinosaur bones still stuck in the rock in Belfast and has contacted the museum but it's like nobody is interested. Seems strange that nobody is interested if dinosaur bones rare here.

@@needlehead9888 I know of a few dinosaurs from northern ireland, so not impossible. Just depends on the layers they are in here: 1.paleobiodb.org/classic/basicCollectionSearch?collection_no=139588
      2. www.jstor.org/stable/10.1525/j.ctt1pn61w

@@rachelm2646 Unfortunately it wasn't dinosaur bones. Got in contact with someone form Ulster museum who explianed unusual geological stuff that happens that can make things look like large bones.
On a positive note i recently found a bronze age axe head in Belfast that i know is real and the museum will be collecting it.
      Sorry for the disappointment.

well at least the two that were found belonged to two relatively famous dinosaurs
a herbivore need "Scelidosaurus", and a carnivore named "Megalosaurus"

My disappointment is outweighed by my intrigue.

Hold on! The tetrapod footprints on Valentia Island are 3rd oldest footprints in the World (#1,2 are in Australia). How does that figure? Tiny creature 100myr before dinosaurs footprint remains but nothing else inbetween.
