People watch Eclipse's videos dogging on Roblox games, but they usually miss the whole point of his videos. He WANTS Roblox to have good games. He doesn't want to have to go in these games with low expectations, he wants these little kids and teenagers to have GOOD GAMES on a FREE PLATFORM. He makes these videos so Roblox devs can see them and be like "That game has horrible _____, let me make mine better!"
I would agree but lets be fr. Why would devs stay on roblox to make games when they can move on to other engines to make better stuff? Also there is some good roblox games. Just because its not popular doesnt mean they dont exist

The first half of your comment is just objectively true. But Roblox's main problem is exactly that. Those good games aren't popular. So if someone wants to make a Roblox game, they wouldn't see Pizza Game or Phighting or Super Robot 64, they would see Fisch, Blox Fruits, and Jujutsu Infinite. While writing this response, I suddenly remembered a game called Black Magic 2 that I used to play. And despite me being a little kid with insane skill issue and a shitty laptop, I still had tons of fun labbing combos and learning new techs from better players. But a fun battlegrounds game with DMC combat and insanely unique abilities gets massively overshadowed by TSB and many other copy and paste battlegrounds games. (On top of it barely updating)
@八雲藍-y2j people stay of rb bc of the community, but also, Eclipse never said there aren't any good games. He has a lot of good reviews on games he has played, Deepwoken, Blox Tales, Pizza Game, etc
If Roblox had more good games than slop, that would help it attract aspiring game devs which would in turn mean even more good games.

Has everyone forgot about Shindo Life? I swear this reminds more more of shindo life with bloodline slots bloodline bag, bloodline slots, the spinning system, the distance of the quests from the quest giver, copious amounts of grinding to rank up, the bosses. It all reminds me more of shindo life than blox fruits.

Shinobi life 2 atleast had some kekkai genkais that were viable and fun to play with, and the chances weren’t entirely too horrible, in jji, the ONLY innate ability you should have that isn’t a legendary or special grade is ratio

Im specifically telling about unique drops. Aka domain shard and máximum scroll. Both 0.1% with no increase of chance through dificulty in. plus weapons outside investigations. Who tecnically cannot be crafted and you have to either get the 0.25% drop or Buy them with fingers

Like I told Eclipse on the video being watched, testers TRIED to suggest changes for the game; but the suggestions channel never got read, the devs overbuttered the testers so we couldn't actually experience the progression how it is now, and the only time testers were given a chance during their jobs were during live events. Obviously, not every tester can make it to these live events, and in my case I never got to get in due to being busy. Its just developers wanting to be lazy, releasing a paid access game guised as a "test access" pass, and then ignoring their testers for a majority of the game's actual developement. Its easy to see, too. Every time I look in their dev log chat, its always something that I look at and think "I've read suggestions.. nobody suggested that.." and then its just some random bs nobody asked for.
I hate those Chests so much, I wasted one of my Gourds that give you 2x exp as long as you dont open them, I was in a fight with those chests hovering around me and I accidentally opened one and lost my Gourd
Infernasu, all the bosses in Jujutsu Infinite during story mode, ITS BEYOND Easy, you take 0 damage and it requires truly no skill. I thought the Sukuna Final Boss fight would be hard and challenging and take MAYBE multiple attempts, but I was shocked to beat it in like a minute without trying... Especially after seeing everyone(during testing) say it was difficult.

@gokublack-er8lf Ik but when in testing specifically when I watched Yt's they were SO much harder and looked more difficult. I wasn't aware of how easy they made it till I played.
Rn only difficult difficulty is noghrmare, but even so, all the bosses were toned down.
I noticed the npcs are way stronger midway through and bosses especially like Finger Bearer chunks and/or insta kills on higher difficulty and sorcerer npcs are more hostile at Grade 2 (level 240) and higher which you need Grade 3 to fight on nightmare for both the first boss and investigation, I didn't have trouble reaching max while being on for an hour or two at a time and we get a free domain at the end for clashes so I don't think it's that bad. (I got level 420 in around 8 hours with Ratio and Idle Transfig)

i was a "tester" for the game and they did improve a lot since the beginning but when you start at bad and go to ok it doesn't feel like and improvement

At the very start, the progression was terrible, and the devs said in advance that progression was gonna be changed very soon since they weren’t done with the system when testing started.
However, people still mostly got to max level on that terrible progression system, and relatively few people actually tested that system. The ones that did said it was bad, so they buffed it, then they didn’t like it anymore so they reworked progression. But then progression still sucked, so they buffed it before they reworked it again. And they just kept reworking it for the entire duration of testing.
Late into testing, it felt like the devs actively wanted progression to feel long and easy, while the testers wanted it to be short and challenging. Pre-release, progression was relatively fast, NPCs were actively challenging, and the bosses made you break a sweat. Now, the progression is brain dead easy, but takes 20 years to complete.
@@thebman468I am not a tester but the very first time I did boss quest is the most boring quest ever, they did less dmg than curse users and explosion which I can tank that easily.
At least bosses(gamemode) could changed their dmg by difficulty with the same low ass drop rate

The funniest thing is, they nerfed progression, because the capture point mission gave the most exp out of all of them. You could easily get 10 levels just from 3 captures or less+plus doryaki for 25%exp more, BUT they made it so the curse spirits in capture dont give alot of exp.
I remember CC life was hating receiving 5 sukuna fingers from special grade drops, autoclicking chest, waiting for volcano boss for haien gauntlets and buying heavenly restriction to speed run the progression if you didn't have special grades. This is just jujutsu kaisen shindo life with gambling.

This is why we need testers to test, the developers know how their own game is supposed to play so they can handle that, get the testers to play the game in an unintentional way that the devs would never think of trying because it's not the intent. But tbh, I think this has nothing to do with testers, the devs just made slop and everyone around them likes the taste of slop.

I have a friend who's brother was actively paying for Tester and guess what, a good 90% of the things Eclipse was pointing out are things the testers were telling the devs about! Its just another case of the devs being egotistic and not caring about testers opinions, and THEN being surprised when youtubers are making videos about the game being a copy and past jjk bloxfruit.

I think a lot of roblox games have issues with end game progression. Most roblox games feel like early game progression is maxing out your character level and end game progression is getting rare drops or items. And thats super boring. Jji suffers with that getting max lvl is super easy and the end game progression consists of farming the same boss til you get the items you want and getting the rare drops that give you your energy nature and the other thing i forget what its called. When it comes to power boosts and all that like your energy nature and the other modification thing, the item should be there just to reroll it and obtaining it should be something else. For example ive been playing demon hunter a lot and they could make obtaining it similar to getting slayer mark. Not like absurd like it is in demon hunter but something similar where you have to do x amount of things to get it. Something else they could do is add some type of endgame thing to progress your character beyond leveling up. Like a hidden potential system or what not. Games also suffer with lack of ways to play the game. Most of the time if you wanna farm something you have to do the exact same thing for hours which can only really be fun with friends cause you would be messing around. You have 3 options to farm in jji but none of them are fun. There is the open world quests which take seconds to do and require 0 brain function, the investigations which take 0 brain function and you dont even start taking actual damage from the bosses until the last 2 difficulties. And boss fights which is the same thing as investigations instead you just skip to the boss fight pretty much. Nothing in jji poses a threat. I think most roblox games are afraid of making a game a little difficult because it would push the audience away especially since the audience is mostly kids with no motor functions. Difficulty is games is what makes it fun tho. Look at elden ring. The game compared to other souls likes is not that difficult but its still difficult enough to be fun. In the game max level takes so long and is almost impossible to get that you will never reach it. Late game progression consists of building your character, upgrading all your gear, finding items to make your build perfect, and finding more magic or abilities for your weapon to min max your character. I think a good rpg game NEEDS min maxing and jji doesnt have it. Min maxing is usually difficult to do or takes time but is worth it in the end and in jji its just tedious and you dont feel an improvement. And its just not fun.
heroes online did the spin format properly with different tier spins and the 2nd one somehow did it better

Recommendation once you get to a high enough level to grind bosses grind them they give a lot of exp which can help you get levels faster
all of the problems with JJI are small, but there so fucking many of them its insane

From what I'm seeing they made this game so much easier for release. I remember during testing me and my friend would be getting one shotted by some of these bosses like that one Rot Cardinal move and the other quests the sorcerers would be popping domains on you and you'd be having like a 7 way domain clash or would do combos that'd get you to below half hp. I get nerfing the NPC's a little and making the game easier but they did way to much and now the game is just way to easy and not much fun anymore because in no way is it challenging.
Also, I can speak from experience because I grinded back to max level on release day with my friends so I was able to experience this new grinding and it's so much easier then the old quests but tbf I also had 2 special grade techniques off start and tons of mastery scrolls which allowed me to get all my moves including domain at like level 80.
there is only three one on the tutorial, second on jogo when you get the maximum technique scroll and lastly when you fight sukuna and use an incomplete domain

I am a wave 2 tester of this game, and i did not complained about gambling, cuz i have like, 5k spins and all inates, but normal people are struggling to exist in this game

It’s not easy, it’s genuinely brain dead. They nerfed the cursed sorcerer npcs after day one so instead of actually doing combos, they just m1, maybe use 1 move, then kick you away. The one mission that was actually semi engaging and they killed it.

It’s Roblox, not really surprising to see a lot of issues with this game just like others. I would rather devs make games for money to fund better quality games that have more effort and time put into it, than just slop after slop. That’s why it’s been so shitty lately with devs making easy cash grabs to make money. Nothing wrong with that; but I legit see no creativity in this community other than small games that have a low player base with the occasional 0.01% game that is good and gets big.

I dont wanna be that guy but multiple people who bought tester had items removed from their inventory WITH PROOF and when a friend of mine went to the discord to publicly complain he was simply told "you didn't lose anything" without any regard to the screenshot on the same screen they replied to his message with and when he said anything else he was banned from the server, no warning, no mute, just banned on the spot. I think after the original type soul we know what kind of people roblox devs can be.

because games like deepwoken and other projects people expect quality from a game, especially a game like jujutsu infinite that sold tester and makes insane amounts of money off of child gambling
for the record one of the best pve techniques is ratio, a rare tier innate :3 so you dont need spins upon spins to get special grade and legendaries to have an easy time farming

- avoid repetitiveness
- be unique

the lowest the jji bosses ever got me was like 75-80%, and thats bc i was trying to fight him on 350 ping
You cant blame testers, but realistically you can still do missions even if you are max level (the devs even let us do the story before release). The problem is that regardless of what we said 1. We were more like early access since we very rarely tested updates BEFORE they dropped and 2. Even after we criticized updates the developers didnt listen or did but reworked whatever was faulty in a poor manor.
I have no idea how the early access works. Did it function as sessions of stress tests? Or like was it like permanent access?
If it was the latter, maybe you could test the updates more and criticize more?
@retpyutic59 it was early access, and only in mid 2024 (mind you we had been playing for over half a year now) they FINALLY let us do test sessions. It came with a few catches, though, since 1. Only a few 100 out of the 50k players could test at a time, and 2. The devs chose when you got to play, so usually test sessions were a few hours long and only happened once few weeks/months. Wave 1s actually got to test the game freely, but wave 2s and 3s only got early access with a slim chance at testing. Regardless, most of our criticisms of the game were either poorly addressed (such as them constantly adding and removing missions) or just not addressed at all (such as an alternative to the spin system).
i got to max in like 3 hours, there are 2x exp codes, food that increases exp gain, items that increase luck, and whole lot of other stuff. bro didnt even bother to get to a high level and test high level bosses. Of course the early game is gonna be pretty easy, its for the new players. Bosses and gameplay in general gets harder at around level 120-200. Hes just a d1 hater rn. His points are valid but it doesnt make this game dogshit. calling it bloxfruits is actually crazy. The game just released, he needs to calm down.

It auto applies buffs if you type /buff, it doesnt make it easier just makes it faster lol thats why i use it

@flarethefox9836 i dont know cuz they gotta take into acc monthly wages for the whole team which is around 1700-2400 dollars/euro depending on the country and considering hollow knight took more than a year to produce 40k would probably not last them more than just a couple months of development.
i only gave balatro as an example cuz it was made by a single dev meaning costs are at the VERY minimum.

Jujutsu Infinite isnt even near the biggest offenders. Its actually playable with every innate feeling decently different. The spin system is very normal dogging on a game for using it is pointless. This dude should just stop playing Roblox if he can't play this kind of game without hating everything.
For anyone who hasn't tried it yet It does not take nearly as long to lvl with no XP multipliers as people say it does. Took me 3 days of kind of playing to get 420.

@joe2516 Yes but you could "test the game" (AKA get early access) if you paid some sort of discord membership on their server if I remember correctly, so yes now it is free, in the past though, you had to pay to play it before it was released to the public

Realized this is just some weird glorified JJK-themed Blox Fruits with a slice of Project Slayers and GPO.
A few things I would like them to do are buff the npcs and nerf the players hp at the start of the game. Starting with 900 hp at the start compared to 100 hp of the curses is very unfaif. Also make the turn all button in box opening turn all the cards around eve if they are different rarities and buff progression.
There's actually 2 cutscenes at 2 moments for when u awakening ur maximum technique and incomplete domain+ more to come to the story but okay
