This was SO impressive. You are full to the brim with talent, girl! And the transition between you going from yourself, to going into character was really interesting to see and also the sign of a great actor. Best of luck xx

Shannon Crosby Hey! Well first off, try to keep your monologues around 2 mins. This went over because I was wrapped in the emotions for too long. Don't push for the emotions if they aren't there. Try doing a small, simple backstory of how she must feel to be dead, in limbo as her parents are living, searching for her. Create as much information as her, in first person because you are her. Let her live. We never know what our next emotion, reaction or feeling will be so let it go. Do all the work of getting to know who she really is, we're great at becoming or imitating people we know. If you don't know her, how will you be her, know how she feels. Rehearse it until your tired of the lines and then let it all go! Don't think, just do! Just be! :)

This is stunning best one i've found on you tube so far! I wish you had let some of the deep, hurt moments be and not try to fight back as much when you used the over exaggerated wording and guestures as some moments displayed anger and the real obstacle was hurt and the monologue was truly about love and being strong for others, also I think a slightly faster pace. But overall stuning!! Thanks for sharing xx

Yes definitely! This was done awhile ago and I have grown so much. I've learned much. I appreciate your notes/opinion and will take it into consideration whenever I do decide to do this monologue again. Have a Great Day!
